yeah, and add to that the fact that he doesn't seem to have any powers that Superman didn't have. Just how he gets his strength is different. So I'm not sure if that's true....

You're right.....he's got all the powers that Superman has......not reversed like Bizarro............

I was thinking something similar the other day and thought it would be funny as hell if Bizarro got around by digging and scared the crap out of people every time he popped up.

I thought Black Adam should've been able to do more damage to him. And it seems like DC needs a whole nother mini series or issue dealing with "where is Mera? Where are all the other heroes?" A lot of capable heroes out there whose whereabouts are unknown.

Actually they mention that slightly. They say that many of the syndicate along with the other DC villains are taking care of the few heroes that are fighting back. One of the previews say that a superhero team is going to be killed by one of the syndicate.

Some are fighting, but it's hard knowing who and what's happened to them.

I know it is being done to make them look badass but when the Syndicate isn't together as whole, a team with Black Canary/Vixen/Mera/whoeverelse is still out there should be able to take down anyone of them who isn't Ultraman and Superwoman.

But yeah, DC should've come out with a Resistance mini, this would be the perfect time to let their B-List and down characters get a moment to shine in such a big controversy where the League cant help.

I don't know about that.........Johnny Quick dispatched the Titans in 2 seconds............He does stuff with speed that Barry Allen would not do.....

And the Syndicate is showing their toughness. Power Ring and Deathstorm handled the Rogues pretty easily, and obviously Johnny Quick took care of the Titans.

This has got to have repercussions beyond this story......A JLU animated series type of thing where Cadmus secretly creates weapons to take down the Justice League in the event they went off the reservation.

The world is getting a taste of what an out of control JL could do.....

I have to admit, Johns is actually greatly exceeding my expectations with Forever Evil, he's not at Sinestro Corps War level, but I'd easily rank this alongside Blackest Night at the moment.

I felt Bat-Bane was a little hokey, but I'm still loving Arkham War.

And yeah, I wasn't sure what to think of this whole Crime Syndicate thing, but I've been loving Forever Evil and Justice League. I bought the first tie-in issue of Justice League of America, and while it was decent, it didn't keep my interest enough to continue. Then again, I only bought that title for the Trinity War tie-in. I'm not really invested in it at all.

I'm also LOVING the magical aspect of this event. Forever Evil: Blight's been pretty good. The lead up in Justice League Dark, Phantom Stranger, and Pandora was interesting, and now two parts into Blight and I'm eager for the next issue.

All in all Forever Evil is hugely satisfying for me. It's blowing all of my Marvel titles out of the water.

How was Trinity War and Forever Evil? Have they been good events? Something like Sinestro Corps War where it was almost cinematic and the event was good issue after good issue?

Trinity War was a bit of a mess in that there were a LOT of characters to keep track of, but it was still pretty good. I thought the best part of it was the Phantom Stranger tie-in.

Forever Evil, however, has been fantastic. It's still fairly early to compare it to something like Sinestro Corps War, but it's on its way there in my opinion.

It was a good issue. I love that Thomas Wayne, Jr, is Owlman. It fits his introduction in the New 52 as a member of the Court of Owls, and it makes it more interesting than just making him a twisted version of Bruce Wayne.

Owlman, at least the modern iteration from Morrison's Earth-2, has always been Thomas Wayne, Jr, even before Court of Owls.
