Actually I'm more into Sarah Marshall, Harold and Kumar 2 than the Summer comedies.

Although, I do kinda wanna see Get Smart, Hancock, Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder.

I wanan see those 4 movies also.

did sisterhood of the traveling pants do well enough to warrant a sequel or are they only making a sequel because the actresses in the movie are now big tv stars?

I think its the second reason.

oh it has the girl from ugly betty lets go see a movie about travling pants. lol.

thats what people are gonna think.

It didn't make a boatload. $42 million ww, $25 to make. So it did profit, maybe it has to do with the popularity of the actresses or the books they were based on, 76% Rating on RT.

really? 76% on RT? I didn't see that coming. lol

Eh, people should leave it up to themselves to decide whether or not they want to watch a movie, however, if said people are on the fence about a movie, sometimes a bunch of reviews can help persuade them.

I don't look to others for a review. If i think a movie looks good i'l lsee it no matter the reviews.

There's never been a movie in the theaters that you said, "Nah, I don't want to see that movie" and then you happen to watch it on dvd or cable and you did a 180 about it?

That's all I'm saying. If there's a movie you're not entirely sure on, perhaps some stellar reviews would nudge you into wanting to see it in the theaters.

i wtached juno cause it had all these great reviews and everyone said it was great. i watxhed it and thought it was very meh at best.

Thats why i don't trust others saying reviews.

I did that with the matrix sequels actually. I watched the first one and enjoyed it but heard the sequels sucked and never saw them. Then about a month ago I decided to check them out myself and I loved them. So sometimes listening to people is not good.

I'm not saying we all have to be sheep, I'm talking about instances when we aren't 100% sure we want to see a movie.

I get what you're saying. I don't go to rotten tomatoes but I do take into account what other people say. Although lately, I have listen to less and less people ever since movies like Meet the Spartans and Prom Night became #1 at the box office. I'm still surprised Prom Night beat out Street Kings. I know SK was rated R but it was a GOOD movie.

Take Prom Night. I really dislike most remakes and have no intention of seeing it based on the trailers and what I've seen about the movie. But if say my friends or I hear/read a whole bunch of good reviews about it, I would reconsider seeing it.

I can't believe I enjoyed a movie that had male nudity, opera, and that annoying guy from 30 Rock. funny movie. 7/10.

Also, Blake Lively who is like super famous now cause of her show Gossip Girl and then the girl from Gilmore Girls is in the movie too...

Ya, I didn't see the first and never would have thought they would have made a second. I was surprised that they got the entire cast to come back for the sequel.

Saw the movie. Thought it was just okay. I liked it better than Knocked Up, though.

Saw it last Saturday. Great film. Very funny with a lot of heart. Knocked Up and Superbad were better, though. 9.5 out of 10.

saw it the other day. Awesome movie. I'm getting it on dvd definitely.

the girlfriend and i preordered the 3 disc dvd. i loved this movie, i really hope the puppet dracula musical is one of the extra features
