Fourth Villian is... THE LIZARD?!?!?

*NOTE I created this seperate thread from the 4 Villians thread to try and discuss ONLY the Lizard, and his possibilies on being the 4th Villian... not any other choices*

I think it might be The Lizard, as he WAS slated to be in the Spider Man video game, and then pulled last minute. Perhaps he was also going to have a cameo in Spider Man 2... and then pulled last minute.

Perhaps it's just a quick 15 minute piece of the Lizard, getting his powers, and then fighting Spider Man...

REMEMBER THIS:

"Dr. Connors made a minor appearance in Activision's 2004 Spider-Man 2 game, but not the Lizard himself. Originally the Lizard was supposed to have been included in this particular video game, and was even prominently featured in some promotional materials before being suddenly removed. At the time there was speculation that the character had been removed from the game because he was being considered for use in the future Spider-Man 3 film, but this has not been proven."

But also, since a lot of people think that VENOM will be more from the Ultimate Spider Man universe...

"In the Ultimate Marvel universe, in addition to becoming the Lizard, Dr. Curt Conners (note different spelling of the last name) created the Ultimate version of the supervillian Carnage using DNA from both himself and Spider-Man."

So Maybe, just MAYBE, Conners is helping with the symbiote formula of Brock and Parkers father, to try and regrow his arm. In doing so, he bonds the formula to himself, and a regenerative Lizard, and becomes the LIZARD, but upon removing the symbiote, it escapes and (in Spider Man 4) becomes CARNAGE !

*cue triumphant music now.

Any other thoughts/ideas on why The Lizard will/will not work!?

^Tell you the truth,not good.But with Venom out of the way,he has very good chances to be in S-M4.

I think chances are pretty good Spider-Man 3'll have the Lizard, whether he fights Spidey or not. This is supposed to be the end of a trilogy, like X-Men: The Last Stand. It should tie up all loose ends to complete the main theme, and the arc of the main characters. Then it should leave the future wide open for sequels. If the Lizard is simply created in a final scene, trashing the good doctor's lab and smashing holes in the school's walls, then that'll set up enough hype for a sequel (barring other obstacles).

But we don't know.

I don't think he would be in this movie. But more likely in 4. It would be nice to have him in it without Venom. To me, that just seems like too many villians with fangs....They would be trying to eat people. Lizard and Electro would be a nice combination in my eyes.

I used to think the Lizard would be a really horrible villain too, but the more I thought about it, the more I could see it working.

Peter could see Connors struggling and failing to combine reptile DNA with his own to regrow his arm. Peter (knowing from experience that humans can gain the abilities of animals through DNA change) hates to see Connors losing hope, and in the interest of science decides to reveal his identity to him. He finally gets it to work but, unlike Peter, his transformation doesn't stop and he slowly becomes the Lizard. That whole transforming back & forth thing would be really lame on film, but it would work really well if they did it similar to The Fly(80's version, of course).

The story of the lizard is a compelling one not only because of the unique relationship between peter and connors , but unlike the rest of spideys villains whom all seem to embrace their powers or enhanced abilities, connors does not want to be this creature. and finding a way to destroy this monster and save his friend will prove to be challenging. There is a good possibility for seeing the lizard.

hmm its hard to say if lizard will make it...

i mean how can u fit 4 villans in this movie, we have to see the alien symbiote get into peter parker than see how it gets into brock and how he becomes venom, than we have to see and how baker becomes the sandman after the nucliur explosian working in oscorp (seeing how hes normans osbournes cousin)

we have to see all these events happen and each one will last quite a wile, cuz u cnt just rush it... unless there quick flashbacks?


anyway how will lizard fit into this movie its a long story just on conners part alone, mabe he will be in the 4th one


theres too much going on in the third film, itl take 4-5 hours to get evrything to fit in. but most likly the film will be 2 1/2 tp 3 hours long

on second thought mabe lizard will be in but probably in the last bit of the movie leading us into a very anticapating sequil.

i overlooked the actors name on imbd, and under his charicter connors the lizard is represented next to it.

spiderman defeats venom and hes sent to rykers island prison were he meets cletus kasady, its than were the alien symbiote attaches a pice of itself on kasady, than transforming him into karnage. than the movie ends leaving us in anticipation for spiderman 4
