That's not the same trailer that leaked if I remember correctly... but it's good.

The Dark Night Returns?

Jesus, WB. Nolan leaves and you spiral out of control. :o

Anybody else having trouble viewing it? I keep getting page not found from my phone

Wasn't impressed or excited till I saw Batman swing into the glass with Harvey.

The trailer is amazing. I really geeked out watching it.

Is there any word on who's doing the Joker's voice?

^ Yeah I noticed some scenes were missing/different. Wonder what'll happen with the leaked version...

They probably whipped this one together pretty quick and discarded the leaked one...

I can't believe nobody noticed the title mistake... The Dark Night Returns.

Yeah... I've never heard of him.

And I'm much too lazy to google.

Michael Emerson is playing the Joker.

That is awesome. For those that don't know he played Ben Linus on LOST.

The trailer was very impressive. The animation is extraordinarily fluid and the voice acting is mostly spot-on. I do hope the movie isn't just a panel-by-panel redux of the comic though, I felt that hindered the Year One film.

I think that's actually unique casting. He's one of my favorites.

Has it been officially announced?

No, the Joker casting hasn't been officially announced yet since Joker isn't in the first half of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns very much, and the full voice cast hasn't been announced yet.

I feel that it's impressive faithfulness to the source material is one of the Batman: Year One films great strengths, not a hindrance. I'm glad they didn't just take Frank Miller's Batman: Year One story and bastardize it. As Bruce Timm said, "Put in more gadgets and the flasher cars, and then suddenly it's not Batman: Year One anymore. I just insisted every step of the way from the script, to the character designs, to the animation style, I just wanted it to be like the comic come to life. Anytime somebody would veer away from the comic, like in the screenplay, Tab Murphy did the screenplay and did a really, really great job of adapting it for the film, but every now and then I would be reading the script and going, 'Oh, wait a minute, that lines not right,' and I go back and look at the comic and go, 'Oh, yep, the line in the comic is better, put that line in there.' So it was just a mater of just constantly referring to the comic and making sure it stayed true."

And Bruce Timm said about Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, "It's going to be very, very faithful to the comic."
