Agent Les in the regular universe was in the episode about a woman who can not die.I think he mainly worked with Peter in that episode.

okay, nevermind, i thought he was a recurring character, like Charlie

Good premiere, solid Fringe goodness. I'm so ready for this season, Peter or not. I think Lincoln will be a satisfactory addition for now until his return ("our" Lincoln was so cute with his "Clark Kent" glasses :))

My question: Is it that Peter's essence is still exerting some influence over the universe, or is Walter (and presumably later on, the team) experiencing some kind of residual memories from the previous timeline? I would assume the former, since what else would September need to erase from the timeline if not something of Peter?

And, is anyone else picking up Joshua's Fringe comic book online? Since the issues that he's writing are in continuity with the show I thought it would be worth checking out.

I just wonder what the consequences will be for September.

August, September, etc... When were these names given to the Observers? I don't remember anyone calling them that before.

It was probably in "August" in season two, but I cant remember if they formally used those names onscreen. If not, then I think it's just something that the producers have used to name them.

Okay, just some random thoughts...

NEW COLORS in the beginning credits. Loved it.

Ah Lincoln I am so happy to see him and that dude from Stargate Atlantis! omg! BEST SHOW EVER I love this team. I want a show with just Lincoln and Robert.

I like how Olivia has taken over Peter's job of calming Walter.

Hmm I thought Olivia's old partner was a guy? But she said 'her' Or am I forgetting a back, backstory?

I really enjoy the shows where they do soft reboots. I loved it in Primeval, loved it in Eureka and I love it in Fringe. It opens up new story ideas and plotlines without loosing the essence of the characters. I'm enjoying this one so far.
Lee's reaction at the end was priceless.

She was referring to her original partner (his name escapes me) the guy who was on human target. He dies in the first ep, but shows up again in flashbacks and trips.

Also I was annoyed that she mentioned him as the partner she lost and failed to mention her other partner she lost; Charlie. Who was killed pretty much the same reason/way as Lincoln's partner.

Well, whose to say that Charlie's dead in this new timeline?

thought i would let you guys know that there is 14 issue fringe comic partly written by joshua jackson. first issue is out online at the DC store.

"The new series will alternate every two weeks between "A" and "B" storylines for a total of 14 chapters. "A" storylines will explore events tied directly to the Fringe show canon, while "B" storylines will take a "what-if" approach and look at how things might change if certain elements are out of balance."

Nice first ep, it was heavy on Observers stuff. Walter was excellent "I will have to check her anus while stuffing himself with pop-corn" was priceless.
I spotted Peter "ghost" at the begining, it was pretty obvious but didn't cash him afterward save for his reflexion in the TV screen.

I am pretty sure "The" Observer wasn't named in this episode.
As far as I am concerned I never heard/read about them being named from the months of the year. I read "August" as the surname ( Auguste ) not the month.

From wikipedia :
He has never been referred to as "September" on-screen, but is credited as "September" in a press release for an episode as well as interviews with the actor.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fringe_(TV_series)#cite_note-23"

The press release : http://www.thefutoncritic.com/listings/20100312fox07/

It's probably just a way for the writers to distinguish between Observers in the script.

So, apparently, in this current reality, [BLACKOUT]Olivia killed her stepdad?!? Holy crap!!![/BLACKOUT] :wow:

I also couldn't help but notice that unleaded gas was only $0.99. :woot:

God damn it Peter stop haunting your dad

Hey, the guy's been wiped from existence. The only hope he has probably lies with Walter. What would any of us do?

Not only that, but
the other Broyles is still alive.

It will be amusing to see Walters reaction to when he sees the man in the mirror & the man in the TV & the talking voice in real life claiming to be his dead son that he still from the other Universe & that both were Universes were changed

Not to mention that Pholivia is a real ***** again. :P

Why does Fauxlivia look better with blonde hair than the real Olivia?

Because Olivia was pulling it back behind her ears.

She lets her hair down while our Olivia ties it back. Also, Fauxlivia likes to leave a few buttons unbuttoned. :o

You noticed the buttons to huh?
