Ah thanks! I have the memory of a goldfish. :csad:

Now it alllll makes sense! :awesome:

Haha. No prob. I have a very selective memory. I remember details of Fringe and other TV shows, but really suck at remembering birthdays.

The Search For Peter Bishop Begins

I guess William Bell could still be alive in this timeline.

I think what I'm really interested in seeing is when Peter is found, will the timeline revert, or will Peter exist in the new timeline as an anomoly.

I jumped up and cheered at the end! Im just curious to see how Peter is going to return. I still think it'd be awesome if he came back as an Observer and everybody remembered how he used to be or something

I like that it all goes back to the Observer. Walter still crossed over to the other side to save Peter, but this time The Observer didn't save them when they crashed through the ice.

God. I didn't actually expect Walter to have the spike in his head! :wow:

I wonder if they have deleted scenes of Peter haunting Olivia ? For a guy who does not exist he sure has been keeping himself busy haunting his dad & girl

Excellent episode this week.

I'm excited to see how they're going to bring Peter back. Walter and Olivia now want to 'find' him, but how can they when he doesn't actually exist? I wonder if Walternate and the Olivia on the other side have been having the same visions?

I'd love to see Walter try and find him by going to another parallel universe, one where Peter exists, and using the facial recognition software on Olivia's drawing there. Then when he realises who Peter actually is, he'll put 2+2 together and work out that something corrected the timestream in his own universe but echoes of that Peter still remain.

If you assume that our universe (the first universe shown in the show) is the prime universe then by wiping out Peter from our universe would wipe out ALL the Peters in the multiverse.

Peter wasn't wiped out, though.

He just wasn't saved as a kid. So instead of being deleted from existence, it's just that a specific moment in time was changed.

Well then, knowing what we know of Fringe, it appears to me they have 2 options for restoring the character of adult Peter :

1) The Observer reverses his changes, and he does save Walter & kid Peter from the lake.

2) Walter finds a way to go back in time and effect the changes himself.

I think the Observer will do it, given that he seems to have some sympathy towards Walter ...... as shown by his recent actions and reluctance to completely wipe any trace of Peter from the timeline.

I would like to see some stories about the Observers. Their name is a misnomer because they do more than just observe. They interfere often to make things go the way they are supposed to. Which brings me to my second question, whose plan are they following and what is the plan? It's a pretty grand plan because it spans multiple universes.

Why would the Observer reverse the changes if wiping out Peter from the time he drowned in the lake was the right course of action? It wouldn't make sense for him to do it nor would it make sense for the other Observers to let that one Observer throw the universe(s) off balance again.

If Walter finds a way to travel back in time, wouldn't the Observers' imperative force them to stop him for doing it? Peter being alive, as an adult, goes against the way it's supposed to be.

after thinking about it,,, I'd rather see Peter enter this timeline, without fixing it. I'd rather see that, rather than the generic fix the timeline plot. Kind of the same way the dimensional bridge exists, even though Peter couldn't build it in this timeline. Have Peter exist, even though he died.

That would be interesting to see.

Peter knows everything about them, but they know nothing about him. And have to relearn everything.

It also means that he has no criminal record and could pull all those cons on criminals who now have never met him all over again. ;)

That sounds awesome! Except the impending Olivia/Lincoln/Fauxlivia/Peter thing that'll be going on. Have we seen the Lincoln from "over there" this season? He is an awesome character though
