Not to mention the mess up we just had.

They aired the true Fall finale 3 weeks ago promoting it as "Fringe is back!"

To the casual viewer yes "Fringe" was back

Then the following week is a new episode. Hope you enjoyed that one week fall break lol. Ignore that month long break we just had.

Crazy.

Seriously. A 5th season of this show to wrap everything up and clear up all the crazy plot lines would be amazing.

That's what I'm hoping for. 5 seasons of this show will make me very happy.

As will FOX when they sell the syndication rights and recoup any money they lost

If i'm not mistaken.

Ratings were bad last night

http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsideth...series-lows-nbc-doesnt-suffer-post-chuck.html

9 p.m.

CBS: "CSI: NY" (8.4 million, 5.5/10)
ABC: "Primetime: What Would You Do" (5.0 million, 3.4/6)
NBC: "Grimm" (4.7 million, 2.9/5)
Fox: "Fringe" (3.1 million, 2.0/3)
The CW: "Supernatural" (1.6 million, 1.0/2)

A 1.1 is par for the course with Fringe.

I enjoyed this past episode. Kind of wish we had both Astrid's working together every week.

why must fringe go on break for march...or first 3 weeks of march....so evil fox...

TV Line:
Fringe Exclusive: Lost's Henry Ian Cusick Cast as
– But in Which Universe?
Lost reunion alert: Former island dweller Henry Ian Cusick is headed to Fringe this spring, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Cusick will play an FBI agent assigned to a Fringe case in this season’s 19th episode. It’s unclear if this is the same role we told you about earlier this week, that of an “Alternate Universe Agent” that possesses strength and confidence as well as strong comic timing. Safe to say it is (except, as we know, the FBI doesn’t exist “over there.” Or at least it didn’t before Peter vanished. OK, now we’re all confused.)

The gig reteams Cusick with his former Lost boss (and Fringe EP) J.J. Abrams, hence the “reunion” we touted above.

Cusick recently wrapped production on the first season of ABC’s new Shonda Rhimes-produced drama Scandal, which premieres on April 5 after Grey’s Anatomy.

Fringe airs Fridays at 9/8c on Fox (new episode tonight!).
WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :eek::up:

Hell yeah!!! And damn the ending to tonight's episode was !!!

^Agreed! I think that things have been lagging earlier in the season and when in came back this year it really started to pick up so here's hoping it keeps getting better.

I'm wondering if the injections Nina was secretly giving Olivia is the reason she remembers? Just speculating.

I love that it took Peter a moment or two to figure out that something was amiss..... "Oh, she's coming in for a kiss, huh? Nice...... wait, WHAT?!?"

Yeah, I had the same reaction as peter lol. I liked how at the very last second before it ended there was a hint of a smile on Peter's face.

i think the injections are for her to be able to awaken her powers so she can travel from universe to universe without going into the portal.

because a couple weeks back peter said,"why cant you just go there on your own?" but then he dismissed it. I also think shes getting memories from the blue verse because she went into the town and it kinda jump started the merging process for her.

Anyone think that if Peter actually does get back to the original universe, it'll look like that whole end of the world sernario he saw at the end of last season?

I'm kind of confused about this universe/timeline thing. Is Peter in the blue universe but just in a different timeline or is he in a different universe parallel to his original blue universe? The way I understand it, is the former. He's in a timeline where he doesn't exist but it's the blue universe. Right?

Before last night, they thought the orange universe was a separate timline from the blue/red of the first 3 seasons.

But now it looks like Peter is wondering if he's actually in his universe after all.

And that's what I've thought the whole time. Being in another completely different timeline didn't make much sense to me....even for Fringe :p

Yes. To both.

yeah timelines are pretty hard to follow sometimes how i view it is like this(now this might be completely wrong, this is just off the top of my head with no research, so forgive me if im mistaken)

RED: The real timeline where peter is supposed to live and not die by a disease.

BLUE: Peter dies from his disease, but walter finds the cure for it to save other children. But then takes Peter from the RED universe only to cure him, but ends up keeping him. Causes the universes to start coming together causing them to eventually overlap and destroy each other.

YELLOW: The Machine splits the universes apart but equal so they don't overlap each other and destroy each other. But Peter vanishes as this is his goal in life, thus ripples back to when he was taken and instead of the observer saving him and walter, the observer does nothing and walter makes it out alive and peter dies from the cold.

so it makes a new ALT Yellow that has peter dead completely where he died in BLUE and was taken by walter from the RED universe, but not saved by an observer.

so to peter his view on timelines and universes are.
1.Blue
2.Red
3.Yellow
4.Alt Yellow(where this season is taking place) and hes trying to get back to Normal Yellow.

thats how i view it, and i could be completely wrong. so again sorry if im mistaken on any of this.

Is the Time Line's merging really the bad guys doing ? Or could this be the Universe's way of correcting itself due to the Observers messing things up ?

I'm beginning to think this. I'm noticing that Olivia and Walter were closest to Peter in their original timeline/universe and they seem to be the first to be reverting back to their old selves. Olivia's getting her memories back and walther is acting more like his old self, going to the event scene and being more chipper. Its like Peter's presence is causing the timeline/universe to self correct itself, and put everything back like it was. Plus the observers removed peter and everyone forgot him. The amnesia is wearing off I guess due to his presence.

Wouldn't he be trying to get back to blue because he wouldn't exist in yellow.

I think the injections are to STOP her from traveling between universes. It wouldn't make sense for her to be able to do travel at will knowing that David Robert Jones and Nina are working together.

I like your theory about the different colored universes.

I think you guys are making this more complicated than it needs to be...

IMO. The "Red" universe is actually the reverse. Peter was never suppose to live according to the Observers.

So it should be:

Red- Peter dies in both universes.

Blue- Observer steps in and saves Peter, thus changing Red completely. The Observers then manipulate things to get Peter in the machine. This is to set things right by wiping him from existence and setting it back to the Red timeline.

Peter never fully vanished however and showed up in the Red timeline. We still don't know how or why yet.

I think that with Peter there, it is causing those close to him to regain some of there Blue memories (Olivia dreaming about him).

When they stepped into the town that David Robert Jones was experimenting with, this accelerated Olivia (probably because of the Cortexiphan).

Just my thoughts.

I think you guys are making this more complicated than it needs to be...

I agree.

Blue is 'our' universe. Red is Peter's.

When Peter was removed, the yellow universes remained.

When Peter first came back, he thought the yellow universe was his (red/blue), with history changed. As time went on, they came up with the theory that yellow was a separate timeline, and red/blue were still out there. So Peter and Walter have been working on how to get Peter back.

But now, with Olivia getting memories of time she and Peter weren't supposed to have together, Peter's thinking this really is the red/blue timeline.
