I liked the first season. So I'll watch S2 when I'm able. Probably on Netflix

I'm so torn on this show. I liked a lot of it, but also found a lot of it dumb, and a lot of it cringe-worthy. I'll probly watch the 2nd season.

Saw the first episode of second season on Tuesday. It's starting off decently. A little slow at the beginning, but the action picks up close at the end. It's basically a set of the characters for the story arc this season.

I'm not a huge fan of the whole "the prophecy" or "chosen ones" b.s. Part of the charm of the original movie was that the vampire attack was sudden and a shock, we were in the shoes of the characters as to what to do.

I am very entertained with this series, especially retconning what the vampire/ snake/ demon creatures are so they are more unique.

I just watched the first episode of the series on Netflix. I liked it enough to add it to my series queue. What is the general consensus without spoilers? ( I know I know it's based on the film I already saw)

Other than Wilmer Valderama and his horrible acting, it's definitely a fun watch.

Yeah, I like it. It's fun, but all I see is Fez when Wilmer Valderrama is on screen. He's pretty bad.

He does a weird subdued neck roll thing when trying to be intimidating, and it just looks so horrible.

I was a little off-put at the de-aging and skinny-fying of Salma Hayek's vampire character, but the actress is good and she has a different kind of beauty.

I'm almost finished with the first season and I have to say I really like the actor playing Richie in this series over QT's one note creepy rapist character.

Just caught the finale last night. It felt more like a series finale than a season finale, is the show cancelled?

Unofficially it looks like it. The cast have been released from their contracts to persue other acting jobs.

It's for the best. Season 3 was pretty bad. The whole possessed Kate was horrible or maybe it's just the actress. Her true form was even worse, the actress from season 1 of the Dome. I have no interest in seeing Geckos plus Kate.

..it may have to do with Robert Rodriguez beginning work on Alita: Battle Angel with James Cameron. Maybe.
