I'm conflicted about this. It goes without saying that Shield will go over Evolution when the time comes. This is about building Shield up. But who is left for Bryan to face in title matches? Kane is already DONE and that match hasn't happened. Could go with Cesaro, but it's too soon.

I could see it going like this

Bryan vs Kane at extreme rules
Bryan vs Orton at payback
Batista vs Bryan at mitb as for battlegrounds who know and I see Bryan vs lesnar at summerslam

Very true. Either would benefit greatly from it. Would be more keen to Sandow getting it seeing as he's in need of a desperate boost of credibility.

Hey, at least Cena is not main eventing and is in the same boat. Equal footing.

There's no reason to complain about Bryan not main eventing Extreme Rules, especially if the last match on is The Shield vs. Evolution.

That's a least a money match. It's not like John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis is main eventing over the champ... good god, talk about bad memories.

Plus the world champion is facing Kane in the semi-main. Yeah, it's really familiar. That's why it bothers me. I haven't forgotten Bad Blood 2004.

They need to reach out to Jericho and bring him in to feud with Bryan for a couple of months.

I am not overly pleased with Bryan vs Kane but looking bigger picture I can see why The Shield vs Evolution will main event Extreme Rules and why they are saving Batista and Triple H for matches with Bryan as this should just be the start.

We'll need to see how Extreme Rules plays out before getting all pissy.

Tonight had an IC title tournament that was really good and the booking of a big faction war as the main event. I think the pieces are in place right now.

Roman being the last one crawling and trying to fight was cool,I think the feud continues until Summerslam where it'll be Ambrose&Rollins vs Batista&Orton then Roman vs Triple H

In truth we don't even know Bryan vs Kane wont be the main event, it might well be, once the PPV has started the tickets have been sold and buys made, you don't lose any because of match order.

If they book things the way I think they will then The Shield will lose to Evolution, so they may well want to end the PPV with Bryan beating Kane, although that match really needs a good stip. It's in New York so I think it will be interesting to see how WWE approach it.

I'm a little bummed that it seems like they're giving away the full monty of Shield vs. Evolution so soon... but whatever, it'll still be fun!

I found this to be another Solid Raw but good in a different way from last week. Last week was the reset button that focused more on kicking off angles and this week was a wrestling heavy Night with some quality wrestling. Especially from Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler....I thought Ziggler bumped too much to be a good worker lol Spoony.

Seriously though, this really emphasized the "More Action, less talk" direction that was hinted at by Cena on the Steve Austin show and I'm dn glad.

Especially since The IC title is being treated like its relevant for once.

I think it will be Cesaro vs Big E, I get the feeling WWE are moving past Cesaro vs Swagger as there was no mention tonight in either Cesaro or Swagger's match of a feud between the two, and Swagger lost clean which means he's not worth Cesaro's time.
