Frozen 2

I hope they pop a princess and the frog Easter egg in this one. They popped lots of Easter eggs from other recent disney films in the last frozen.

They surprised us all with the story they had in the first movie so it's likely that they could come up with a love story for Elsa that doesn't at all come off cliched. They could come up with a Fire-Wielding Prince character who matches wits with Elsa.

STAHP!

No, realy, that type of think is what i'm hoping they don't do in the next film.

Why would they include anything from OUaT?

Because that had some continuity from the movie and showed, for example, what happened to Hans and that Anna and Kristoff were engaged. It also showed why their parents sailed off and where Elsa got her powers. I was just wondering if all that was considered canon (since OUaT is an ABC show and Disney owns ABC and I think they also produce OUaT) or if they'll just ignore or even contradict it and do totally different stuff for the sequel.

Disney sees that merchandising money.

Predictions for Release Date:

If Disney wants the Hype from Frozen 1 to expand:

November 27, 2016 (and to push their other projects like Wreck It Ralph 2 back)

This puts their last 3 movie list at:

Frozen, Big Hero 6, Frozen 2

If Disney wants the hype from the first movie to die first:

November 27, 2018

Prediction for Story:

Anna gets fire powers and Elsa and Anna have a huge firey and icy battle in Arendelle.

The story would be based on Anna and Kristoff getting married, but we already got that story in ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Knew this was coming, but I wasn't expecting an announcement so soon.

They aren't going to care about matching the continuity of Once Upon A Time.

It's not canon at all. OUAT is it's own thing and doesn't affect the canon of any Disney films (see every time they do things differently than Disney films, like Rapunzel and her cameo in Frozen).

There's no need for a sequel but if your gonna do it you better do it right so hopefully Disney does it right. A big question in Frozen was where did her powers come from so they should address that.

It's funny that Elsa is BY FAR the most popular character from the first movie/even though I'd argue that it was more focused on Anna and her journey. I'd expect the sequel to be more Elsa-centric partially for this very reason.

That is literally what will happen, it's not even a metaphorical gif. It'll be like Agent Smith, everyone in the theatre will turn into Elsas.

I thought "Frozen Fever" was a nice little tease for the next film. Anyone who's seen the short knows a new element will play into Frozen 2, or allude to it.

I'm probably not going to get to see Cinderella, so please do tell (with spoiler tags of course).

The new elements were shown in the "Frozen Fever" poster, but here goes:
Everytime Elsa sneezed in FF, she produced several little snowmen. At the end of the short, Olaf, Sven and Kristof take the snowmen to the ice castle where the snow monster resides.

It's a little eerie that she has that ability and can't fully control it, but they may touch on it.

I loved the Frozen : Fever Short it was quite very heart-warming and sweet.

I had issues with Frozen Fever...

Elsa has a cold?! Seriously?

Look, I get that she's dealing with her powers and stressing out about ruling a kingdom. There's a lot of pressure on her and that might mess her immunity system up, but a ****ing COLD? The Ice Queen can't get a cold, the same way the Human Torch can't get burned by fire. It would make more sense if it was allergies or the flu, since that is caused by a virus.

I am the only one overthinking her superhero/mutant powers?

Well, I guess I'll have to #LetItGo, but that does make me apprehensive for the sequel.

You do realize what a cold is right? :funny:

Plus, her stress and well guilt, was about Anna's birthday. Its a clear manifestation. So this was no different then Superman getting too much solar energy or some fire based character getting too hot.

So awesome. :funny:

I enjoyed all the callbacks. Especially the one to the skull and bones joke.
