FX Atlanta

I love how no matter how out of nowhere something is, nothing ever seems too strange for Darius. Plus yeah, angry Paper Boi is fun to see, especially after he was having such a good time playing poker.

But I'm not gonna lie- having a built-in Nando's at your place? Have you ever had some of their chicken? It is delicious!

I knew the Dutch episode would feature something to do with Zwarte Piet (Black Pete). There is no way they would not feature that weird offensive Dutch blackface traditional character.

I hope people watching this realize that random people don't actually just walk around in blackface in The Netherlands. Nobody does that. Also "Zwarte Piet" doesn't look like that anymore, they changed it up years ago. (Because it was offensive) All of the stuff they did with it like the maid or at the concert would never happen. And we (I'm Dutch) don't have a Bail system here.

Interesting seeing no masks though, I know they shot it during the lockdown. I guess him sneezing all the time was a joke about the real world situation.

I think the role of Marshall is the one they wanted Ryan Glosling to play. God I can see it and now I’m sad it didn’t happen if that was the case. Guy from the hangover movies is doing great though.
Ryan Gosling on 'Atlanta'? It almost happened

So Jordan’s Peele’s work definitely was an influence for the writers this season.

Up there with three slaps for me not that the previous two were bad though.

Was I the only one who read all the sh** slogans that were on the whiteboard? :o

This was the funniest episode of the season so far, just from the interrogation and pretty much anything Socks did.

Great episode, it almost reminded me of the Club episode in season 1 where Paper Boi had to slap some fools.

Also, that interrogation scene was so wild and unpredictable. It almost had some Batman/Joker vibes.

I’m loving the locations they have chosen for the Europe portions of the season especially this past episode.

It would be funny if Socks turned out to be Atlanta’s version of a big bad but knowing how unpredictable this show is we may not even see him again after this episode.

Van is just here and there so far this season.

I did like the whole small council on how to- or not- spend money in the Black community, with Paper Boi seeming like the only one who wanted to do something worthwhile.

As someone who's parents are from a West African country.

Ghanaian jollof>>>>nigerian jollof.
These are just facts

Shout out to all the immigrant restaurants. Even though it's just Nigerian, that aesthetic remains true in every Arab/African restaurant I've been to... even down to the tv not working. lol

And yeah that gentrification f**kin sucks.
