G4 rarely shows video games, Cartoon Network is showing more live action, what gives?

Both of these channels use to be on point, now they're slowly going a whole different route from what they were made to do. Ri-donk-lous.

Cartoon Network is the one I don't really get. I mean, Spider-Man, ok I can see that. At least he's had cartoons. But School of Rock? That has nothing at all to do with cartoons.

G4 is still basically the same. I mean, they've gone from video game network to nerd buffet. That's fine.

Well, CN shows live action movies...that are...aimed at kids. Although, I *think* they aired one of the Ace Ventura movies, adn those are PG-13.

At least they've released Ed, Edd, N' Eddy onto DVD now (Two volumes and Two seasons so far). Now if only they release Courage on dvd and other older cartoons.

Dexter Lab: Complete Series
Cow and Chicken: Complete Series
Courage the cowardly dog: Complete Series

And any other old/cancelled show that may sell. 2 Stupid Dogs and I am Weasel...I don't think would do too well, so didn't include them.

dude, what are you talking about?... the only live action thing they show is Saul and The Mole men... and to be honest, I never watch that. I just watch Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman (when it's on), and Venture Brothers

Cartoon Network sucks so bad now. They show live action stuff all the time and their new cartoons are just terrible, unoriginal, and not funny...they all seem the same.
I hope cartoon network gets cooler, even adult swim is lame now

2 Stupid Dogs needs a DVD. Also, Swat Kats: The Complete Series.

Anyway, now that Harvey Birdman is done, my only reasons for watching Cartoon Network are the Venture Brothers (whenever they start airing the third season) and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, which is the only kid-friendly cartoon CN is currently airing that could stand alongside their golden age of Dexter, The Powerpuff Girls, et al.

G4 was better before they swallowed up TechTv and Comcast forced them to be an all inclusive network instead of just a niche video game channel.

I never saw G4 before it merged with TechTV. I really only watched X-Play on TechTV anyway, and that survived the merge. Of course, I haven't had G4/TechTV on my cable plan for the last couple of years.

CN didn't really get any hate until that time they showed Saved By The Bell.

And G4, as someone said earlier, is really just trying to be a Spike TV knockoff. Getting rid of the core audience and trying to be more mainstream by add chicks that are only there for their looks and shows that shouldn't even be there; like Cops and Cheaters.
