Okay seriously...what the hell happened to you 'Cartoon Network' ?

I like the Total Drama Island show.:o

Don't know how I'll feel about Total Drama Action though.

I didnt realize until last night that I dont even have a show to watch on CN anymore an that all I watch is Adult Swim. Man how the times have changed
I realized that I dislike the majority of Adult Swim's block. The only shows I see are Family Guy and The Venture Brothers. I like Home Movies, Mission Hill and Harvey Birdman but they don't air them as much now.

I used to watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends before that, but I don't know where it went. I thought it got canceled, but there was a special on around Christmas just now...
The final episodes will air in February. "Destination: Imagination" is the shows second made for TV movie.

I did like 'The Life and Times of Juniper Lee'....the only things I watch now are Venture Bros, the Ghost in the Shell series, and Robot Chicken.....but I also realize I am not the target demographic for Cartoon Network

Not really about Cartoon Network but I heard that Teen Titans will be airing everyday on Boomerang before Justice League Unlimited starting in February.

Cartoon Network (going old school) will air a Powerpuff Girls marathon which will include a brand new special "The Powerpuff Girls Rule!" on MLK day and Boomerang will air a Johnny Bravo marathon on Valentines Day.

Both sound pretty sweet, but I'm still waiting for my Samurai Jack conclusion.

I was about to say how this was gonna be the greatest Valentines Day ever for me sadly then I realized Im not that lucky... I don't have Boomerang :csad:

Anime does appeal to Americans. That's why there's so damn much of it on our airwaves.

I agree, though. Venture Bros. is the only thing I still watch on Cartoon Network as a whole, let alone Adult Swim.

I always got the impression the CN programmers had nothing but contempt for their Anime type programming especially on Adult Swim. Like it was a necessary evil. They hardly ever promote it and even occassionaly do stuff to poke fun at Anime fans. Like when they aired the series finally of Ghost in the Shell (I think!) dubbed over with a bunch of fart noises.

I realize they are not the Anime network but when you disrespect one of your big demographics like that you are asking for trouble.

They make fun of things that are actually worth watching and then promote the hell out of the ones that aren't. Call me simple-minded for "not getting" Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Moral Orel, or Xavier, but I'd rather watch re-runs of Stand Alone Complex or The Venture Bros. over any one of those. For every Superjail, we get a load of tripe.

That was like what? 1998?
I think, but it was considered apart of the "new" scooby cartoons.

Moral Orel was amazing.:o

I get that there was a lot more going on than the religious satire, but just because a show tries to be compelling doesn't mean it actually is.

I stopped caring about Cartoon Network ever since TDI finished its first season and I realized I no longer care what happens on Naruto.

Adult Swim is still pretty good. They play some entertaining anime and every once in a while we get shows like Superjail! and Venture Brothers.

Moral Orel was amazing.:o

Easily the the most engaging 11 minutes on Adult Swim.

I love Venture Bros.....I don't get superjail and I think 'Tim and Eric' is ******ed

Superjail is one of the worst creations CN/AS has aired.:down

What's so bad about Superjail? It's deliciously random, has large scale ideas fit into a short running time, and is too surreal to ever be mistaken as a serious animation. How is it worse than, say, the show with a talking backside wielding a gun? Or the squids with the Aqua Teen animation that do nothing?

I've never seen Superjail, but Assy McGee, 12 oz. Mouse, and all those other Aqua Teen wannabes have been pretty terrible.

Frisky Dingo just oozes homo-eroticism....I feel uncomfortable watching it....

Frisky Dingo was better when it was called Sealab 2021. :o

I didn't mind Ben 10....adequate characters and the whole thing with The Plumbers was cool....

yeah cartoon networks primary product should be cartoons
