Game Awards 2023

I thought it'd be Dishonored 3 when Arkane Lyon logo showed up, but this is just as good.

Single-player, immersive sim Blade game... Let's ****ing go!
Damn, I step away for 2 minutes and miss a reveal I actually would have cared about. Stoked to get a Blade game and by Arkane Lyon.

Ahh, the franchise that Cavill is betting his career on.

It throws me seeing Supergirl J'onn being affiliated with Alan Wake.

TLOU wins Best Adaptation. The show was awesome, easily the best.

I like the environments on Light No Fire (Hello Games).

Zelda wins Best Action / Adventure game.

BG3 beats FF and Starfield in the RPG category.

Also won another, maybe voice acting. How many is it up to now? The sweep is still on. :D

Hmm, AW2 might actually get GOTY.
It has to win GOTY now, or it makes no damn sense. I mean it probably won't win, but it should if it has the best narrative and direction. But alas, these award shows are so dumb.

While you have an argument for direction, I don't think narrative is necessarily defining of what makes a game great. Nintendo games typically have weak narratives and there are great multiplayer games.

The sweep is complete.

The Zelda curse is finally broken!

Kind of shocked. Not necessarily wrong, but for once they kind of surprised me.
