Interesting choice, since I'm not familiar with this composer that leaves a lot of room for me to be surprised.

My brother is desperately excited for this project, and has been begging me to read the books. Judging by the looks of this, I may have to.

But I took his suggestion and started by reading up on the Houses. I am already confused as ****. And I thought Lord of the Rings had a lot of names to remember.

It's hard but start with the major houses first, it will get easier from then on. But yeah, you should definitely start reading the books.

Doing it that way is confusing and pointless. It's fine if you just read it as it is, along the way you can reference the back but all the characters are well drawn enough for you to tell who is who and from what family quite easily. I rarely checked the back because it work as a story quite well. It was after I finished the book that I really got into that stuff for a day before moving on to the second book.

Boom: advice I give anyone starting this series. Start with the beginning, just go with the names and all the characters because it starts to sort itself out quite nicely, and when you get to the line "the things I do for love" (about 80 some odd pages in) and are not hooked with an 'oh my god he (GRRM) really did that?'...then stop reading cause it's not for you.

the void of blue sky...hence the sky cells...3 walls one blue sky, floor slightly sloped so you can't really sleep and you can leave/fly if you want to. They're cells built off the side of a mountain cliff resembling a hornets nest.

Oh damn, all this pics! When it comes to production designs HBO always deliver and is no exception for this show, all from the costume designs and the sets look just amazing. I can't begin to tell how perfect Peter Dinklage looks as Tyrion, that last pic with him [BLACKOUT]in the sky cell[/BLACKOUT] looks exactly as I imagine, though Jon takes awhile to get used to. I hope there's more pics coming, especially on the rest of the Stark family, Sansa, Arya, Rickon and of course the direwolfs.

But overall, I am loving the look of this project. I may actually have to get HBO for this.

Don't know but I won't let it bother me but I understand what you mean, especially since that's one of the features they acknowledged of Jon that make him resemble more of Eddard than most of the children in the Stark family expect for Arya.

And great that you like it oh and in the show they have raise the age for most of the characters, hopefully for Dany too.
