Can't wait to see a couple months from now to see how many GRRM experts there are who have not even read a single volume yet.

I remember once when the LOTR movies were coming out and they were interviewing Ian on some TV entertainment show, ET or Extra or somethign like that. The interviewer was dumb enough to ask what's next in the story, Ian replied "you know, they are published." Just the way he said it still cracks me up to this day.

The previews have shown a lot but have only scratched the surface of how awesome this could be. There's still a ton to see. I think people will be blown away by the end of the first episode.

They should be releasing more of this posters but with different characters on the throne like Tyrion, Daenerys, Jon etc.
Similar to the teaser HBO released awhile ago but for the posters.

So I just picked this book back up after starting it almost a year ago and getting distracted and not finishing it. I'm not even halfway through yet, but I'm obsessed. This show is gonna be amazing. And I can't get enough of these featurettes. The casting in this seems so, SO good.

I know, that's why I've been avoiding this thread for the most part. But I can't resist all this marketing. Damn you HBO!

But for the most part, I seem to be past the episodes that they're using for the promo material, so I haven't been spoiled. There are like two things I've seen that I definitely haven't gotten to yet, but I can't really tell what's going on in them, so it's all good, as it's making me want to get to them faster in the book, lol.

I just wonder how long this will last, in so far as how many seasons. Even boiling down the books each season could really only follow one foreshadowing the second except for a few exceptions.

I just hope they do not change the character deaths because of star power or other reason.

Mine too. But I find that Jon and Daenerys are a lot of people's favorites. I think GRRM telegraphed his last play.

This show will have an impact like LOST did...Trust me, this will be a show that will be bigger then True Blood and hopefully as big and lengthy as Sopranos.
