No, X-Box support are useless. They haven't responded to my emails yet and the people on the phone can hardly speak English, never mind know the first thing about consoles. I'm going to try and get my dad's mate to sort it out- he knows everything about this sort of stuff.

Maybe us gamers could help.

It could be something simple. I'm using a BT Voyager 2000 Wireless ADSL Modem and BT Broadband is my ISP. I'm trying to connect the 360 directly through the ethernet port on the modem. It passes all the onscreen tests (IP address, DNS, MTU etc) except the XBox Live test. I'm not sure whether I need new equipment or whether I'm doing something wrong.

I/P, do you have school today? I'd like to play some XBL with you if you could get it working.

Oh I don't go to school anymore. I work but get a lot of days off (like today) and can work from home quite often. I'd be ready to go now if I could get Live to work
