No I finally got an email repsonse from XBox support. Great advice, they told me to try their phone line which I've already wasted about two hours on trying to find someone who speaks the same language. Anyway I'm not even going to try now until my dad's mate comes and has a look (hopefully next couple of days). He'll definitely know what the problem is.

I can relate.... but it was mostly to make up for the fact that I can't play again until Friday Damned college.

I was going to catch up on sleep tonight but the Gears influence has been growing on me steadily throughout the day. I was up to the Berserker when I switched off last night so if he's not too difficult to get past I could be set for another marathon session.
