I felt Fable 2 was boring as hell, and though better graphics, I had more fun playing Gauntlet Legends on N64 and Gamecube which has pretty much similar gameplay solo and with friends.

Hardcore gamers like more than Gears of War and Halo.

Whether or not it encourages developers to make party games is irrelevant. The problem is developers are making crap games. Nintendo isn't saying "Make crappy games for Wii".

I was only using Gears and Halo as an example. But you're right, Nintendo isn't saying that, its just the success of their party games is encouraging it is all.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't know if it's the different angle that the notes are at in Guitar Hero or what, but I just can't seem to hit a lot of notes in it, whereas I'm fine in RB.

When you activate the Star Power in GH, the highway shakes. That always messed me up.

That and the notes change color, which messed me up too.
I don't like how big the notes are. In Rock Band the notes are smaller and easier to read, at least for me.

For myself Bioshock's story structure is too similar to System Shock 2's, if you have played and finished it before hand, almost right from the get go you know how it will all go down. It's also easy peasy in comparison.

Dead Space seems to be like a System Shock 2/Resident Evil 4 hybrid but the set peices and doom III like jump out's ooga-booga moment's don't do it for me personally. Although I do think it is better than Resident 4 in the horror department.
