    Happy Easter, Guest!

Sci-Fi Gareth Edwards's Jurassic World Rebirth

I didn't care for the trailer music, but I'm there Day 1 for this and it definitely looks like we are getting plenty of dino action and chase scenes this time around.

Love the vibrant colors and how the dinos look in general and this cast seems fun.

I can also see the Alien/horror influence is there too and that honestly excites me the most.

I still think it's too soon after the last trilogy. But Edwards visual style definitely suits this franchise.

Good to see the Spinosaurus back also. Plot seems dumb but apart from the first movie none of them had very good plots.

Does it take place before the JW movies?

Anyway, this franchise is just tired nostalgia bait. It looks less stupid than the last two but I don’t expect it to be good because none of the Jurassic movies have been good other than the first one. I laughed when they were like “This island has dinosaurs that were too dangerous for the park” and then we see raptors.

I haven't been following any leaks for this but them bringing back the whole human/dino hybrid concept from back in the day is pretty insane.

I'm already expecting a bunch of people won't like it but if it's executed correctly I think it could be a really cool and unique direction for this franchise to go in going forward.

I'm a firm defender of The Lost World.

It may not be as great as JP, but it's still a pretty solid film for me.

A couple of years after Dominion.

I don't know, the movie looks fun to me personally. And it looks like Jonathan Bailey's character is gonna be a standout.

It at least looks like a step up from Dominion. I trust Gareth will deliver on spectacle as he's done before. Kinda skeptical about
whatever that hybrid thing is though. It looks like an ape/dinosaur hybrid with a xenomorph face to me.

It's like Jurassic Park III, but with fetch quests. :o
That's the vibe I got from the trailer too, lol. You know what though? That's fine. The plot doesn't have to be overly complicated like Dominion.

I mean...it could be a Deinonychus...

Meh. It looks like a movie that got made

Rexy, Blue, and the Therizinosaurus from Dominion when they see that ****er in the third act battle royale:

I think it looks great, really vibrant visually, I especially love the look of the Mosasaurus sequence! I want a big, entertaining summer spectacle, and this looks like it can deliver that. 👍

I didn't freeze frame this so I didn't really get a good look, you can definitely see a lot of Rancor in the mix.

The Lost World is fine. I don't think it's great and there is a lot of stupid in it, but there's also some very creative action. So I like it, especially in retrospect given how bad most movies in this series after it are.

I just can't get excited here. It looks like a standard action movie to me. No more, no less. Just the same modern quippy action movie that every summer movie is anymore

I'll give this film a shot though the last 2 movies definitely did a lot to kill my love for dinosaurs.

The funniest part of the trailer was you have multiple lines about the danger of this island and "nobody is dumb enough to go where we're going" yet there's also a kid in the trailer?

Kinda down to see more Isla Sorna though. If we get any TLW or JP3 references I'll be hyped because I think they've mined the original movie enough.

Wait, so is this a third island we haven't seen before?
