Sci-Fi Gareth Edwards's Jurassic World Rebirth

The Jurassic Park and Lost World toy lines were god-tier. I miss my boy.

I had this one. Chef's kiss.

They went all out for TLW, I'm pretty sure most of the human characters got their own action figures and every dinosaur seen on screen got a toy except for the sauropods.

Jurassic Park in general has kind of usurped Star Wars in the toy aisles now. Even though kids generally aren't as interested in toys as they used to be, the JP section is always popular.

This is true but is also affected by the toys on offer. Mattel have done a really good job getting all sorts of Jurassic figures out at a cheap price. Kids love dinosaurs and they're being well catered to. Star Wars held a similar position for space toys however present day Hasbro is a shell of its former self. That line was designed for you to get little people to go in larger ships, and now you pay like $20 for a single 4 inch character, and have to crowdfund a $500 ship to put them in.

Dinosaurs are eternal though, and Jurassic Park has enjoyed a near-monopoly when it comes to dinosaurs. Star Wars is as big as a brand can be and yet you'd still find more kids who like the T-Rex.

Any possibility we can get some info about this movie at SDCC?

"Water finds a way"? I almost put my foot through my laptop. :o

Well then.

Not gonna lie, very generic title.

I just don't know what else you can do. The last movie was a good sendoff to the franchise even though they kind of went back on everything they set up in the previous two movies.

It feels like the next step would be Planet of The Dinosaurs. or Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.

Not sure if I would call Dominion a good send-off since it sidelined its major draw for locusts and is an overall mess, but that's a matter of opinion.

Not sure what Gareth Edwards will do here, but I do know that the dinosaur sequences should be entertaining at least.

The Last of Us, but with dinosaurs.

That's what I want.

Yeah, they should have dropped the World part to distinguish it from the previous trilogy.

Now that these films have become nothing more than deluxe DTVs, it seems only logical that their names finally sound the way they should...
I mean, "Jurassic-World : Rebirth" sounds exactly like a rip-off you'd find in the dollar bin.

Jurassic Island

Take it back to its roots but as an island.

OK so what is a new movie going to fix or do better that hasn't been done better before?

Yeah but DO people remember Jurassic World and that animated show? :o
