Geico Cavemen Getting A Comedy Series

i guess nick swardson makes an appearance , i might try to catch that on you tube.

this show was not funny at all. got annoyed after five minutes of watching it. and i watched for another five minutes, thinking it would get better......and it didn't. don't see any potential for this.

This shows sucks....and I mean SUCKS.

Which of course means it will have a long healthy life on the air while great shows are canceled or not picked up.

This could be the worst show in a long, long time!

It's no doubt one of the worst shows. But judging of what people watch nowadays, watch it become one of ABC's hit shows. :down

Is this cancelled yet?

Ok, so I watched the 3rd episode, & I have to say it is starting to grow on me. It really isn't that bad. The writing is getting better as each episode goes by. The characters are really starting mesh together. I don't know. Might be a keeper.

didn't this show get cancelled?

Prime-Time Ratings:
Tuesday 10/16/07

-Yesterday’s Winners:
NCIS (CBS), Dancing With the Stars (ABC), Law & Order: SVU (NBC)

-Honorable Mention:
The Unit (CBS)

-Yesterday’s Losers (excluding repeats):
Cavemen (ABC), Carpoolers (ABC), Dateline: Matt Lauer Presents (NBC), Cane (CBS)

-Ratings Breakdown:
CBS and Fox shared the top spot on this fourth Tuesday of the 2007-08 season. CBS was first overall in total viewers, while the ongoing American League Championship Baseball Series led Fox to victory among adults 18-49. The game four match-up averaged an approximate 11.71 million viewers and a 3.7 rating/10 share among adults 18-49 in prime-time. One year earlier, game five of the National League Championship Series (New York Mets vs. St. Louis) scored a similar 11.12 million viewers and a 3.6/10 among adults 18-49. As a reminder, fast affiliate results for any live sporting event are always approximate.

Warhorse NCIS opened the evening for CBS on a winning note, with 17.40 million viewers and a 4.1/12 among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. That led into male-oriented The Unit (Viewers: #3, 12.27 million, A18-49: #3, 3.5/ 9 at 9 p.m.), which fits well out of NCIS, followed by week four of Cane at a series-low 8.50 million viewers and a 2.2/ 6 among adults 18-49. At this point, disappointing Cane (Sorry, Rita Moreno!) has now outlasted prior regularly scheduled occupants Smith and 3 Lbs.

Despite the strength of Dancing With the Stars, ABC finished only third overall in total viewers. Week three of the moronic Cavemen kicked-off the evening third in both total viewers (6.92 million) and adults 18-49 (2.7/ 8), followed by the equally sophomoric Carpoolers at 6.96 million viewers (#3) and a 2.7/ 7 in the demo (#3). Comparably, these were both close to depressed levels from one week earlier. As the saying goes, tick, tock, the cancellation clock is ticking! Carpoolers led into the live Dancing With the Stars Results Show at a dominant 17.03 million viewers and a 4.3/11 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m., followed by Boston Legal at a third-place 10.22 million viewers and a 2.8/ 8 in the demo at 10 p.m. So long, Floyd Meriwether. Although wooden Mark Cuban managed to avoid the bottom two, it won’t be long until he is back counting his billions.

Dateline Special, Matt Lauer Presents, opened for NBC with 5.73 million viewers (#4) and a last-place 1.7/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-9 p.m. That led into a one-hour edition of The Biggest Loser (Viewers: #4, 6.90 million; A18-49: #4, 3.0/ 8), and veteran Law & Order: SVU at a first-place 12.54 million viewers and a 4.8/13 in the demo from 9-11 p.m.

Although the CW finished last with its combination of Beauty and the Geek (Viewers: 3.55 million; A18-49: 1.8/ 5) and Reaper (Viewers: 3.25 million; A18-49: 1.5/ 4), week-to-week the network built on Tuesday by 470,000 viewers and 14 percent among adults 18-49. That’s a step in the right direction.

Have you heard about the potential writer's strike? A reality show cancelled by Fox has been the only show cancelled this fall. If there is a writer's strike then it means the networks will have to scramble to fill primetime with alternate programming once all the shows have been aired. So instead of cancelling Cavemen and let 8 episodes go unaired and come up with 8 weeks of alternate programming they're going to air every episode they can.

If you start saying you watch Dancing with the Stars next...i'm hunting you down.

Now....what's your address again? *gets pen and sticky note*

I watch very, very, very....VERY! Little reality TV. The Caveman show is just oddly intrguing. I can't put my finger on it. I just find it interestingly humorous.

exactly, all you people keep complaining about the show, but yet you are the reason it has yet to be canceled. i personally have not seen the show, no interest, no curiosity, i figure the commercials covered it all. so next time you are watching caveman look in the screen real close, you will see a live caveman.

I stopped watching after episode 1, I really just want it to go.

I can agree with that, you hope it's cancelled.I think it's an idea that's gone too far.Stick to the commericals.

Last's night show was absolutely hilarious. The best episode of a sitcom I've seen in a long while. If you guys go to abc.com and watch last night's episode and don't like it, I'm not sure there's anything this series can do to please you.
