General Arrowverse Discussion

Who would you guys have chosen to direct it at the time? Donner? Burton? Cameron?

DC Multiverse. CGI face tech. Make up. Brief cameo.

I honestly have no idea who I’d want to direct it.
I don’t think Burton would have been right for it at all though.

A better, brighter universe... where Trump isn’t president, chocolate is calorie free and I have a lovely singing voice.

Nonsense, I’m sure you sound like a baby angel. :o

I would like to think that all of the DC movies or tv shows that have ever been produced all exist in the multiverse which is a neat idea.

I’m so going to watch the Flash show from the 90’s! Never seen it before, tbh.
I've seen some of the episodes and they're pretty entertaining. I might binge watch 90's Flash show before the crossover airs.

Yeah I know mate. I meant that the likes of the Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Smallville, Christopher Reeve's Superman, Burton's Batman etc all exist in the multiverse.
I think it would be so cool if Shipp/Barry acknowledged his own League, and it consisted of Lynda Carter, Reeve, and Keaton. None of them would need to even cameo, they could just do a quick flash of footage from their respective films/tv shows.

Yeah that would be a nice easter eggs for the fans.

I’ve been banging this drum for what feels like ages now.

The multiverse is the way WB need to go moving forward. It’s the perfect framework from which to work.

It would mean WB can leverage well known properties, hit the nostalgia button, not have to worry about continuity, and work towards a version of Crisis - which would make Infinity War look like a children’s tea party.

Yeah but I don't trust WB to handle this the right way. They have such an advantage with their rich history of television and film, it could be so amazing if they could throw it all out there in a Crisis movie. It's all canon, from a certain point of view.

The Monitor and Psycho Pirate are both confirmed for this crossover... This is going to be crazy. They're obviously setting up Crisis on Infinite Earths

You can definitely feel the influence of Burton's batman films. Elfmans score, the set design and visuals make it feel like it would fit in the same universe as burton batman.

Mark Hamill's trickster is like the prototype for his joker from batman the animated series

Man, after seeing Jensen Ackles Red Hood costume for Halloween and how legit it looked... part of me is hoping he pops up in the Arrowverse or some DC Universe series.

Hal Jordan dawg. Give him his own series after Supernatural wraps up.

Star Trek proves you can do a GL tv show

I could see that too. I wish they would have cast Sam Witwer for a better role in the CW-verse tbh.

I would’ve loved to see that Clark and Bruce interact.

This is the best idea I have heard in ages...... when time machines are invented for me it's straight back to prevent the American slave trade, kill Hitler, Stalin and Mao and then straight to Hollywood to bang Tim Burton and Richard Donner's heads together.

Sadly, by the time Batman 89 came along, the Superman movies were firmly in the toilet, thanks to the Salkinds.

What could have been...
