Once again, this is not only about reshooting character scenes, Simon Crane is a legendary second unit/action director and he was hired to work on this movie for the reshoots. Disney wasn't happy with the action that Edwards shot or they want to add more of it.

A better look at the U-wing. Love the wings extended.

LFL seems to like the huge wings that extend out.

Not sure how I feel about the U-Wing design, but Yavin looks good.

Anyone make out the name of the (planet) on the Captain Cassian Andor figure.
Jyn's says (Jedha) Cassian seems to say something else.
Likely reveals the name of the Iceland "Tundra" planet?

God I must be getting old, or that is a really bad picture I can't tell. Maybe Badu, for some reason my eyes are seen Eauo. But that makes no sense.

Eadu or Badu, but yeah our eyesight sucks Solidus. :funny:

Yep, this will be me in a year at this rate:

Yeah, I hope you are still at least able to see with glasses this time next year. :funny:

It looks like if a Snowspeeder and an X-Wing had a baby. I like how the wings fold back, though their length is a little ridiculous.

Kanan needs to invest in some robotic eye prosthesis. I know the blind swordsman thing is supposed to be all badass but in the GFFA its hard for me to accept that anyone except the most dirt poor people would have to live blind.

Well I'm more surprised by the fact he even has eyes to heal. Surely they'd be, at best, balls of pus after having a lightsaber cut them.

While I do think they didn't get good enough writers in the first place, Edwards problem might actually just be directing actors. And as Star Wars fans, we have experience with that. :cwink:

All the more reason to avoid directors like that. If they really don't want a Lucas-ish trait in their filmmakers... pick 'em right. Just because they're young and fanboys (a very common problem with this generation of directors in their early 40s now) doesn't make them right for a project.

Yeah his eyes and the eye sockets and surrounding bone would have been charred and melted and the bridge of his nose would be gone too.

They basically cleaned it up, like they did with Tyrion on GoT.

Cassian's figure's planet is EAUO(I zoomed in on my tablet), I wonder how it's supposed to be pronounced.

They basically cleaned it up, like they did with Tyrion on GoT.

With Tyrion it was at least believable that a sharp sword would create a somewhat clean cut, but Kanan's lack of damage from the injury strains credulity. The circumference of the blade and it being plasma would have ****ed his **** all up. They don't need to get gory with it, but he shouldn't have any eyeballs left. If they weren't committed to going there they shouldn't have had him blinded by a lightsaber. A vibroblade, Sith lightning, or some other weapon or chemical or dangerous thing could have blinded him and believably left his eyeballs and face intact.

But this is a minor issue so I can live with it.

Should have just made him like Kenshi from the Mortal Kombat games
