Get better at stealing jokes.
I thank reddit for my high post count after all
That does explain a lot. t:
Now, this is what I was waiting for. The only reaction video that matters.
Bah. Not as good as his first reaction.
Yeah, the first was definitely funnier.
I thought it was cheesy as hell. But Forest sold it.
I have a feeling ****hae is gonna like this one a lot more than TFA.
I would not be so so sure about that. I honestly think George may cross his arms for a while. Though honestly no matter what I figured he would be upset about the first film without him having zero involvement.
I don't really care if George likes any of these new films or not. That's my 2 cents on it haha.
Wasnt Rogue One as a basic concept originally envisioned for Star Wars Underworld? George was pretty involved with that before it was finally scrapped, so his feelings for Rogue One might be different compared to how he felt for TFA. Or alternatively he'd dislike it more so.
Less so than the film in general, but I would be very curious to hear about his opinion on the character of Saw Gerrera and his depiction on screen.
Yeah it was something like this. It's an idea that's probably been rattling around Lucasfilm for decades in various forms from various Lucasfilm employees. It's the ultimate star wars heist story and a huge moment in the GFFA's history.
I thought Rogue One was the brainchild of John Knoll, which he started thinking about when Star Wars Underworld was going to be a thing, but was never really officially apart of it.
The Han Solo movie was also an idea that was around prior to Lucas' "divorce". I think he'll be more keen on this than TFA because it is more of an original entity than Episode VII. But he'll be swallowing that bitter pill for a long time to come, probably regardless of the quality of the films.
Yeah it was John Knoll's idea.
I know a lot of you guys visit MSW for news, so this is probably a little old but I only just read it due to being so enamoured with the new trailer!
Mads Mikkelsen on the various ages of Jyn Erso
I must have missed something... Did George actively voice his dislike of TFA or something?
He seemed pretty placid about it all during the lead up to it.
Argument at Hollywood Reporter over the final Rogue One trailer between Aaron and Graeme: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/rogue-one-new-trailer-star-wars-938440
Nor do I, his judgement is suspect anyways.
No not really. With him it was just a little jealousy he liked it but you know was not over the moon with it or anything.
I do recall that he took pride in the fact that it was going to "Crush Jurassic World like a bug."
Allistar Petrie is not playing Kallus from Star Wars Rebels in Rogue One: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/10/15/rogue-one-alistair-petrie-character
He called Disney white slave owners and kept on saying it wasn't how he'd do it. Other then that he was fine.
