Nobody died or was raped. You're mixing up reality with the film "The Experiment".

But otherwise yeah. People turned brutal pretty quick.

I'm going to have to do some digging but I believe this was later refuted as the experiment was considered tainted by encouraging the behavior instead of letting it happen normally.

It's not that this doesn't happen but the causes from the experiment to test it might have exaggerated or altered the natural behavior of people in these circumstances. Plus, no one has to my knowledge recreated it with a larger or more diverse group of people to find out how common it is.

Yeah the Doctor running it actually started taking on the persona of a warden. It took his wife pointing out how bad things were and had him end it.

So local news says this law covers those with a permit to carry. Which is about 5% of people. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
