The Safe Carry Protection Act, will allow licensed gun owners to carry their firearms into public places, including bars, nightclubs, schools, churches and government buildings.

There is zero reason to have a gun in a bar, nightclub, or a church. Guns and alcohol should never be mixed so I will never be going in a Georgia bar again.

And what kind of dumbass thinks its smart to allow civilians to carry a gun into a government building? Thats asking for trouble.

I came into this thread expecting restrictions, but damn....Governor did pretty good for 2nd Amendment. I don't see nothing wrong with this, but I imagine it will have to be changed if idiots ruin the fun for responsible gun owners. Well okay, having guns in a bar may not be smart...#WildWest

I love how people seem to think that the 2nd amendment says "And all Americans shall have guns whenever, wherever, with no restrictions at all, because ya know, 'Murica" and NOT "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state"

Ya know the idea isnt bad. Section off a chunk of undeveloped land out west and allow a free for all within that section: guns without regulations full on libertarian small governement system with no oversight or governing from the federal government and allow any american citizens of legal age (18) to enter the area. They can also leave at anytime. See how long it last before they all either admit its insanity and doesnt work or kill each other.
