Getting out of the game.

Basically my view exactly. I have my bills and my family so buying figures isn't a priority to me anymore either. Thats why I traded/sold atleast 50-60% of my MLs. And I'll probably eventually weed out the ones I feel I really don't want after that. Plus I'm still on the fence about my Street Fighter figs and other stuff. I dunno, it just isn't that appealing anymore. I'll buy an ML here and there but the days of getting entire waves has been long gone for me. I'll probably spring for it to get Blob but I'll sell or trade off the figures I bought just for the BAF piece.

I still say that one of the reasons fig collecting lost it's appeal a bit is because ML became so readily available rather than being a harder to find collector's line.

I don't know what you are talking about. ML is hardly readily available aside from peg-warmers.

It's more readily available than it was up until like series 9.

Before series 9 it was damn near impossible for me to find ML figs without ordering them online, especially series 3 and 7.

Well, its still been a pain in the ass. MAybe you being in Canada has something to do with it but my WM went from the Giant Man wave to ML15. The other waves might've hit but somebody probably bought everything in sight before I had the chance.

Thats why to me its still a pain in the ass.

It's a pain up here now because we don't even get ML anymore, at least until Hasbro starts shipping.

ML14 and ML15, as well as FO Series 2 aren't coming to Canada apparently.

Sooooooo it's starting to become harder again than it was back at like series 9-11.

Wal-Mart sucks because the 24 hr stores have employees that eat up all the figures as they go out on the floor. I've seen this happen more than once, and I've taken to going up there right around midnight if there's anything I'm looking for.

What, you mean employees that just keep the figs to themselves rather than stock??? Those bastards.

Nah, not really.

Just checked and the Screwjob 2pack quantity just hit 1390. :(

I started out by putting 1500 in the cart then gradually going down by 10 until I hit a number that they are able to fill an order on. It was 1402 when i started, now it was down to 1390 just a lil while ago.

Wow. They've moved a lot of product in one day.

Here's the kicker about RSC, and what really sucks about them: that price won't stay static. As the stock decreases the price is going to rise. It happened with the DX 2-pack and it will happen with these.

They may be an online store with some decent deals and good exclusives, but deep down they're still scalpers.

Damn, I'm gonna have to get it soon then. Damn them to hell. :cmad:

I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the DX pack when it was in pre-order, but I wasn't really chasing the exclusives or many of the CS figures at that point. A buddy of mine got it and it looks really good.

The European title that came with it is amazing and I can only hope will be realeased with Bulldog in CSDA2.

On top of all that, it was a hell of an investment piece, much like this one will end up being.

I kinda wanted the DX 2pack but mainly for HHH. Like I've said I'm not absolutely fond of HBK.

I do hope that the CSDA2 Bulldog has that title. The painted titles that they come with are great. I really want the Flair now just for the title. The CS Flair is good eonugh for the collection so the fig would be eventual fodder.

Did you hear that Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) and Honky Tonk Man signed?? They'll be in a future wave of CS

If you need any help bro with the upcoming MLs I can help you out toward the MS stuff I'm getting from you. You thinking of building MODOK??

I did hear about Hall and Honkey Tonk, and I may eventually get one of Hall if it's in the purple and yellow Razor gear.

purple/yellow or green/yellow and I'm cool with it. I hope they make an Outsiders w/ Hogan 3pack or even just an Outsiders 2pack.

I suspect if an Outsiders pack is made it will be Hall, Nash and Syxx. Just like the nWo Poison box set from a few years back.

But Hall, Nash and Hogan is one I might consider buying.

Especially if its them in the red Outsiders gear and Hogan in his BOB gear when he turned. O man that'd be cool.
