I just hope the next enemy will pose a real challenge for Ghost Rider..and the whole issue of him fighting only at night kind of bothers me, that should be changed as well. Give me memorable bad guys and memorable action.

To be fair though, his rogue's gallery isnt full of worthy challenges for him, especially the GR of today who can hand the likes of The Devil and Hulk their asses.

Then a retro GR is required. The 70s one had Orb and Snakedance (as examples) and the 90s one had Vengeance and Lilith.

Zarathos (that is if Johnny isnt hosting him already)...the Demogorge (could possibly destroy Dr. Strange and all things mystical/magical), C'thon & the Darkhold (the God in Marvel universe who CREATED Black Magic), Lilith.

Other enemies that would be awesome to see on screen: Skinner, Blackout, Lilith & her offspring, Centurious.

Theres a lot of cool enemies, just not any creative writers for GR, or undaunted studio execs.

I think Blackout could work really well in a very dark and demonic Ghost Rider film. I think Ghost Rider needs what The Hulk got - something that is not really a sequel, but does not re-visit the origin either, and has a new cast and crew.

If they do another Ghost Rider movie,they should just stick with Meph and Blackheart or they can just bring in Vengeance.

talk about a sequel has died down significantly soon after the hype settled down. don't hold your breath.

Kazann would also be a good villain IMO, as well as an up-dated Daemon Hellstrom or Deathshead.

They could do Blackout as well I suppose but he wouldnt pose much of a physical threat IMO. Either way they need to go darker.

They shouldn't just go darker (The Pathfinder was a dark movie but it totally sucked). They need to go smarter, and be more creative and stop thinking that they have to cater for 13 year olds. I remember when they first started talking about a Ghost Rider movie in the 90s and they were saying that Goyer had an interest in it...it was so awesome to think that the creative team behind Blade was involved in it...but somehow we got the creative team of Grumpy Old Men and the Amazing Panda adventure (Gary Foster) ...what the hell.

Its been on the cards for a while now that a 2nd one wont be made, shame. I dont want this going back to Marvel studio's if they are refusing to do R-Rated movies.

The only way I would watch another GR movie would be if they replaced Cage/director/writers and if they made the fight scenes actually last more than 4 minutes each.

Always the myopic one... I'll wait to.. but if it ends up as bad as the first, I'll be equally disappointed. Its a shame, the source material is good, but how it got boned in production is amazing.

Maybe in 10 years the technology will exist so they don't shoot the movie in 3 months then take a year to add the flames. But maybe they should just set fire to MSJ's head for all the GR shots...

LOL. The flames took so long because MSJ wanted the most realistic flames...they spent all the money on the CG shots..they had NO money left over for anymore action scenes. The movie took almost another year because of one added action scene that MSJ had to pay out of his own pocket.

It was horrible money management...did I mention that tree that JB and Roxeanne kissed infront of was fake? Yeah it cost $150,000 dollars! The flowers were created by hand and imported from China. Could they not find a tree in Australia?

Wow Ghost Rider was horrible. How could they possibly make a sequel?

Ghost Rider himself in the movie was neat looking, but the movie sucked fat balls. Cage was horrible, Mendes sucks but is nice to look at as usual, and Blackheart was just....not good at all. I can't even call that guy Blackheart without dying a little inside.

I for one am not looking forward to this steaming pile.
I'll probably still watch it, but I'm pretty sure it'll suck just as much as the first one.

If the same people that worked on the first one are working on the sequel then I'm not looking forward to a GR 2. I liked Nicholas as Johnny though. But GR was poorly writen and directed.
