I found a recipe for Ninja Turtle Pies on the internet. It's not 100% authentic (it's fried instead of baked, and the green dye is in the crust instead of the icing), but with a few tweaks I could easily see it being an adequate kitchen clone of the original.

Ecto coolers aren't that difficult to re-produce though. Just mix orange juice with corn syrup and water.

If you're talking about the part about Venkman being a ghost. That was always a part in the original Hellbent script i think from way back.

Instead of Venkman dying why not make it that he ends up being a part of Egon's research to go from the world of the living to the world of the dead & then the idea is to come back at will only Venkman gets trapped there for most of the movie. I like that better then dying lol

Saw this over on GBFans. The consensus seems to be that since she states earlier that they're still trying to get her to read the script (meaning she hasn't read it yet), she's simply stating one thing everyone already assumes (Oscar being a GB. Plus, she plays his mom, so it makes sense she'd want to see her baby have a starring role t, and recalling a prevailing rumor from a previous draft of the Hellbent script she either read or heard. Same thing happened earlier this year with Bill Murray himself during a press event for Fantastic Mr. Fox. He mentioned that he'd heard things, among them Peter being a ghost, but also mentioned he hadn't read a script yet and wouldn't get excited or start hyping GB3 until he did see a script.

I personally don't like this idea at all. It injects a bit of tradgedy into the franchise that I don't think it needs at all. Danger, urgency, imminent doom? Sure, but no one needs to die. Besides, Murray said the video game had made him realize how much he still loved the character and working with the other actors and how he would walk around singing the theme song to himself and how he was fired up to possibly do another film.

To relegate him to a bit part of Venkman's ghost would be no different than what was going to happen back when he didn't want to touch GB3 with a 10 meter cattle prod.

I'm still counting on him showing up as the same wise cracking, smooth-but-not-so-smooth, mouth of the team, training the new recruits right alongside Ray, Winston, and Egon.

You know what... I like the sounds of having [BLACKOUT]Venkman be a ghost[/BLACKOUT]. I honestly think that could work in a crazy kind of way. Remember 'The Frighteners'? That sure was fun. I'd like to see some kind of 'Ghostbusters' crossover of that particular movie.

Yeah, that idea is bery interesting. It's just a good way for the story and actually possibly it being a reason they get a new crew.

in any case, this rumor has been going around since the 90s

i'm just happy that within the 20 years since GB 2 came out, what news we've gotten in the past year has been the most solid thus far

hopefully the movie comes to fruitition

thats a bit odd since dan/ and others have said they were pretty much all in place to return and are just waiting on the studio's green lit/production number order and all that. I still hope we will be getting gb 3. There is so many things they can still do with the series and i would love to see it go on.

They probably are Webhead, so there's no need to fret. You have to remember, that of all the people involved, Weaver is probably farthest out of the loop on how things are going. Ramis has already come out and given us a rough idea of what Egon has been up to since the events of the video game. Like the article I posted said, the only statements you should put any real weight on are those that come from Ramis, Reitman, or Aykroyd. They are the only ones directly involved in the creation of this project at the moment, which so far is just the script (though I'm sure that in the bowels of Sony, someone is probably already plugging away at all kinds of equipment, ghost, and set designs). As much as we'd like to believe otherwise, Murray, Hudson, Weaver, and anyone else are probably getting news about the film the same way we are at this point (other than Dan inviting them to read the script, which again, apparently still only Dan, Harold, Ivan, the writers, and probably the studio have done). Hudson said himself that all he knows is that it's being worked on and they're shooting for a 2011 premiere date.

At this point, here's the facts:

-The game got the whole cast feeling positive about the idea of picking up the film series again.

-Renewed public interest showed that there was an audience that would support new GB material.

-The writers have reached a point that they feel the current draft of the script is strong enough to let Reitman, Ramis, and Aykroyd read it. The opinions of those parties have been very positive about the material.

-Right now the rest of the cast is waiting in the wings to see what the crew have come up with, wondering what may be in the story just as we do...just they tend to do it in front of reporters.

So unless we hear the words "I have read the latest script" come out of Murray, Hudson, Weaver, Potts, whoever's mouth, just take everything as people being just as excited as us and spitballing ideas, and wait for a headline that says "Ramis/Aykroyd/Reitman Talks GB 3!"...

I'm still getting used to the whole digital coloring thing. This is kinda cartoony (it's been a dream of mine to have a hand in working on a new GB cartoon), but I've got some GB 3 related stuff. I just can't post it right now cause I'm not at home.

slashfilm has a new article up about a new interview with weaver about gb3. Nothing really new, just clearly up she doesnt really know what is going to happen yet. Has talked with ivan but still hasnt seen the script for herself. But she would like to be in the film.
