There's a glimpse of the GB II dark blue jumpsuit in there

Bill Murray must have loved the script to come back to play Peter Venkman for the 4th time in a movie.

Also, Janine as a ghostbuster.....it's about time. If I remember correctly, Eddie Murphy at one point was considered for the role of Winston. Having said that, I sort of want to see Murphy in the next one after this.

I guess we'll see, but from the small bits of him that I've seen in all these clips, he looks and sounds much more like the Venkman from the originals than he was in Afterlife (which was a bit forced to me, or like he didn't want to be there).

I'm glad Ghostbusters II isn't being out right ignored. It's canon so treat it as canon.

After Afterlife came out, Jason Reitman mentioned wanting to explore what happened to the Ghostbusters II version of the Ecto in the sequel, so maybe it’ll make a cameo.

Yep! I remember! So I went looking for the quote:

"No, Ghostbusters II [is] definitely canon. There are references to Ghostbusters II in Afterlife. We meet Ray working at Ray's Occult. The toaster from Ghostbusters II is in the kitchen in the farmhouse. There's actually lots of lost Ghostbusters II details but nobody knows Ghostbusters II outside of Vigo the Carpathian and the Ghostbusters II logo. So there's this assumption that it is not canon but it is definitely canon."

"I wish I could talk to you about [Egon deciding to repaint the Ghostbusters II logo on the Ecto-1.]
"I’m just saying that’s a plot that is not in this film and we have ideas moving forward"

As a Ghostbusters fan, I am happy that this movie was made and that the franchise is back and in a decent place.

Are they going to explain the whole Starbucks line? There was no sign of any Starbucks anywhere when we saw the Firehouse again.

As of yesterday I'm starting to see tv spots and billboards pop up. Excited!

Watched Afterlife again, I like that movie a lot, and having lost a friend recently, the ending got me even more than usual.

I just rewatched the original again. You know, for the longest time I completely ruled out a third movie. I remember Dan Aykroyd saying a thousand times they were close to doing it. And it never happened, time and time again. But not only we finally got one with Afterlife, but we are about to get a FOURTH one. Seems unreal. I haven't been to cinemas since M:I - Dead Reckoning, so I'm so excited to be back.

little continuity error there you see the glowing ghost trap opened up on the drone flying along the car before it is deployed ;)

Looking forward to this but I hope they didn't go overboard with all of the callbacks to the first movie by using the original cast etc. What I loved about Afterlife was that the callbacks were so well integrated into the story, if you overdo it it can start looking like fan pandering for the sake of it.

ok the bit with the repaired floor and ceilings from when the containment unit exploded in GB1 is an INSANE detail I love it!!

Bill Murray looks more energetic here than GB Afterlife and GB II combined.

Oh man, I hope Alamo Drafthouse gets them for a Pre-Show PSA. We're visiting Austin next week and our friends have taken it upon themselves to book tickets for all of us at their HQ location.
