Comedy Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

December? That'll be a way quick turnaround from filming wrapping.

Wouldn't be surprised if a new release date for around March 2024 was announced.

Not a lot of time for special effects and post.

This is supposed to come out on my birthday , so I hope it doesn't change lol.

They just wrapped filming and want to release in December this year? Special effects on this may make Flash's look amazing

Super Excited for this! I loved the last film as it was (in my opinion of course) the perfect legacy sequel to the original two films and a much better effort than the remake they tried in 2016.

Also, I'm happy to read and see from pictures that apparently Ernie Hudson (Winston) will be getting a bigger role that he deserves.

Afterlife was okay. I enjoyed most of the first half of the movie, but it kind of fell apart for me in the back half. It's the 2nd best Ghostbusters movie, but to me that isn't much of an accomplishment cause I don't like Ghostbusters II much at all and the 2016 one I never was able to finish in 1 sitting. I hope new one is good

Not surprised

December seemed too soon considering they just wrapped filming. Plus I am sure the strikes also had something to do with the delay
Definitely has to do with the strikes. Stars won’t promote the film if there’s a strike

Things delayed, things delayed. This is like Covid times all over again.

I wonder if we will get a teaser trailer before the end of the year. I'm sure there are enough finished material to cut a small trailer.

This 'Frozen Empire' sounds like it could be a new thing, so I'm all for it. Hope the film is good but I won't be too invested.

I was thinking about this the other day after revisiting the original two films and watching Afterlife with the family. Growing up I was also a fan of The Real Ghostbusters Cartoon series as well as the follow up Extreme Ghostbusters from the 90s. It kind of makes me enjoy the film Afterlife even more as well as looking more forward to the sequel because it's essentially like a modern Extreme Ghostbusters movie series. It follows a group of younger ghostbusters with the veterans serving as the support and guidance for that new generation. Of course, with a lot less emphasis on the "EXTREME" themes that came with that time period in the 90's where everything was... well.... "EXTREME" lol.
