What program do people use to make gifs and avatars? Is there something free online that you can just upload a YouTube video? I can't find something suitable that I can crop images with.

There is. I typically use ezgif.com

I personally use Photoshop, but yeah ezgif.com is a good free option.

Looks like you are trying to use a link to webpage.
We need a direct link to image.

I don't really want to have to download the YouTube video first and then upload it just to create a gif.
