Girl arrest for dropping a cake.

And what if I slapped a white girl and called her a blond bi$$h? Does that make me a racist?

Why would you slap a white girl and call her a blond bi$$h anyway?

Why couldn't you just slap her and call her a bi$$h?

Sounds very familiar to " It was her own fault she got raped, why did she dress in such a revealing manner. She must have know that she sends signals. I mean come on, that revealing skirt, that belly free shirt, she practically said "do me big boy"

I personally find it deplorable when someone tries to spin an inccident so that the victim looks like the guilty party.
You mean like in Jena Louisiana? Where six black teenagers beat up a single white classmate, and they became heroes? Is that the kind of situation you're refering to? I'm not trying to spin it so she looks guilty, I"m trying to make it sound more reasonable that the facts we're given. I didn't say "She was asking for it" I said it's possible she actively provoked the incident... that's similar I'll admit, but not the same.

Hey, it's not the medias fault that reality has liberal bias.:oldrazz:
Reality is relative.

Hey genius,

If the girl didn't want to clean up the cake, or did "a half-assed job," it's still not even close to okay for a security guard to even put his hands on her, much less try and force her to finish.

That's why they have janitors.
And the rules from your school apply at ALL schools right? You know for a fact that this school didn't have a "Your mess-your responsiblity" policy? But it doesn't matter, that's what we have janitors for, they have nothing better to do that to clean up messes left behind by entitled little brats.

Whether or not they acted under racist motives, it doesn't matter. How reckless must you be to break someone's wrist, seriously?

I mean, breaking someone's wrists...'what the hell does that have to do with someone dropping a piece of cake?!'

:o
I say again, there is no confirmation her wrist was broken. read that ABC article carefully. it never says her wrist WAS broken. It says she CLAIMED her wrist was broken and that she was wearing a cast.

the video has no audio right? because in case you guys didn't know(didnt bother to read through)...he called her a nappy head and she was yelling way more racial slurs to him.

So you are saying that the girl isn't as innocent as people are claiming she is?

As I stated earlier, there has to be a reason why the school who is facing a major lawsuit will stand behind these guys with all the evidence in front of them. And the mother was dismissed from work like that....................there's more to the story. Thus far the cop does look wrong, but until I hear frm the other side, which we havent heard ANYTHING thus far, I'm holding my judgment.

and did it say that it was a food fight...not only the dropping of the cake?

Are you f'ing kidding me?

Yes, I know for a fact that NO school has a "if you don't clean up your mess, you get your arm broken" policy.

There is NO type of non-violent misconduct that makes it okay to respond in the manner of the security guard in question.

Either you're really committed to this devil's advocate stance, or you're bat**** crazy.

the security guards are known by all students to be very agressive. The aggression here though, IMO wasn't necessary.

Again I say, No one but the girl has said that her wrist was broken. secondly, how do you know they were completely non-violent. I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense, even taking into account the guard was an asshat, that he would flip out that badly, and then extend his flip out to the filmer and the filmer's sister. and then the mother. It makes no sense in my opinion.

Are you serious?
completely. I've not heard this term used before.

SO...................this was a foodfight?

You may not realize this, but you came off really racist in this... Did I come off this racist?

and, pardon my sheltered ears but... what does "Nappy" mean anyway?

Racist, realist, what's the difference. jk

No you didn't come off as racist. I wasn't being racist, I was being stereotypical. People throw stereotypical remarks about cops around all the time and people believe it to be real. That one guy even said more people who have power abuse it then don't. So I flipped the tables. Most black people act like dumb thugs then don't. Of course I don't believe that to be true, but the stereotype is there for a reason. I had a lot of black kids in my highschool that acted less then civilized. And just like people get offended by stereotypical remarks about race, other people get offended by stereotypical remarks about cops.

I'm the most thick skinned person you'd probably ever meet, and I don't take those remarks to heart, esp. coming from a message board, but I believe if you can give those type of remarks, you better be able to take them.

That's why janitors are employed at school for. Billy threw up in the hallway? The janitor cleans it up and Billy goes to see the nurse. Kids running in the hallway and knock over a trashcan? The janitor cleans it up and the kids go to the principal's office. Food fight in the cafeteria? The janitor cleans it up, and those who either started it or participated in it get sent to the principal's office

BTW, nappy is a term used for something fibers that are coiled around it's self naturally to form a tight ball. Like if you don't comb your hair it becomes knotted up. Since black people's hair is thicker and curlier, it tends to do that easier. Some hair styles do this purposefully, ie: dreadlocks.

If this definition was accurate, my question becomes: Was the guards comment racial, or just the only way he had to identify him. I mean imagine you're in a large group of people you don't know, but you're supposed to give them orders. you're going to start calling them by identifying charactaristics. Like on the show Scrubs, the extras are all refered to by how they look "Snoop Dog Doc, Col. Doc, Security guard with the hook and afro... etc."

... Okay, this one I'm stretching to to play Devil's Advocate on, I'll admit.

You seriously don't think that kids have to clean up their own mess at school because they have janitors? Especially if the mess was made on purpose?

we went to some very different schools buddy. In my school if you were even caught in the vicinity of a food fight you helped clean it up. You knock over a trash can you pick it up and put everything back in it. It's not just discipline, but also common courtesy

The world doesn't make sense. This is the type of crap that happens in it.

How many times do incidents like this have to happen before someone like you believes it? Do you really, truly, honestly believe a meathead security guard over several kids and a family?

Last time I checked, neither courtesy NOR disicpline is enforced with force.

No, it's usually meant to be deogratory. That's if the guy said it at all. It might be a lie thought up by the mom to rally the black leaders behind her, especially now that Imus said it. Scrubs does it for humor sake. If a real hospital did that, the would be in trouble.

Who do I believe? Let see, the people involved are Girl, Filmer, Sister, Mom, Guard, Principal.

I know nothing about any of these people whatsoever... Including whether or not the guard is a "Meat-Head" (nice way to assume what he is based on profession by the way) So I'm going to go with the Principal, who is obviously learned enough to achieve such a position, and the security guard who was hired and approved to work with kids in a highly stressful environment. But what do I know, they probably just handed the titles to the most petty and violent people they could find right?

courtesy and discipline aren't enforced with force... really? Look up the definition of "Corpral Punishment" and be surprised to learn that I went to several schools where this was a standard. "Ma'am" and "Sir" were also enforced. and out of curiosity, how the hell are you suppose dto enforce rules without force?

What I believe are my own two eyes, and what they've seen is a teenage girl with her arm twisted behind her back by a grown man.

You're very naiive, if you immediately believe in those who are in authority.

If we blindly believed in authority figures, Hitler would've won, Nixon never would've been exposed as a rotten criminal, and people the world over would love George Bush.
