Since MCU Wanda has literally *nothing* to do with magic, I wouldn't want her to be Sorcerer Supreme any more than I would want the Winter Soldier to be Sorcerer Supreme.

Agreed. I also haven't been sold on Elizabeth Olsen's portrayal of this character yet. Her accent seems fake way too often and she's basically acted like a whiny brat so far. Also, it's very early to be talking about this in my opinion...we're on pace to have Cumberbatch finish his trilogy in like 2024 .

I've always wanted to see Wanda as the sorceror supreme. If not the comics then yeah go for the movies

I'd argue she does, that her powers are tapping into the universe in a slightly different way than MCU Strange does but she doesn't know the full grasp of what she's capable of.

And no I wouldn't want her to become Sorcerer Supreme. Technically Strange hasn't become Sorcerer Supreme yet either lol.

She's not a sorcerer, simple as that. Whether or not you can argue her powers are cosmologically related to magic in some way, they aren't the same: she gained them via super science experiments, with them being innate to her. They are not learned spellcasting.

As it was explained to use that spell casters use spell to modify reality Wanda does something similar because of the Mind Stone's impact on her. If she were to train in Kamar Taaj she would gain better control over her powers and probably increase them further through spells that said most of the spells in Dr. Strange don't have incantations so it's not terribly off brand for Wanda to get formal training

Back in the day the mutant Wanda from the comics took a leave of absence from the Avengers to train with Agatha Harkness. She developed new powers, such as the ability to control inanimate objects, but ended her training before becoming a "true" witch.

I like the idea of a post Infinity War Wanda training with Strange in the ways of magic, eventually joining he, Blade and Ghost Rider in the Midnight Sons.

If anyone were to become the next Sorceror Supreme it should probably be Jericho Drumm, and if not him Clea or Wiccan.

I don't see Wanda being able to carry a movie. She's one of those characters who works best as part of an ensemble like War Machine, Hawkeye or Vision.
