Flowers is a big ****e. He'll do anything to get his name out there. I'm sure he'll be all for having his songs in Glee.

You are right, however about Mr Murphy and KOL needing to shut up. Celebrity feuds grow tiresome very quickly IMO.

I notice you are not American, so you probably know what you are talking about in regards to your country. If what you say is true, then my embarrassment at my peers has just lessened. A bit.

But I think Murphy should respect other people's opinions and if they don't want their music to be featured on Glee then he should have just let it go. I hope both parties would just shut up now.

I've been wondering for a while why Glee never covers The Beach Boys. Considering that (I assume) Glee clubs are formed around the idea of harmonizing, The Beach Boys would be a perfect fit?

I was talking about the very first response from Kings of Leon in which they said "no thanks" to their music being featured on Glee. Then Murphy responded with a "**** you". I wasn't talking about the KoL tweet. I agreed that was in bad taste.

I feel thr problem with the kol tweeet is that they took an immature one on one fight and turned it into not only an insult to murphy (which was the intent) but now offended any fan of the show, all straight people who watch the show, all gay people who watch the show, and potentially gave some fuel to the fire which is anti gays whom already hate the show.

I love how places like EW have taken a 4-5 page article and reduced to a juicy paragraph which isnt even what the heart of the articles about.

Its pretty enlightening on how this show has become a blockbuster franchise both for the studio and record company, not to mention the increase in sales for the artist themselves.

Personally I dont blame Murphy for telling KOL to FO, they missed an oppurtunity because apparently they are too cool for Glee and their sad attempt at backtracking saying oh this is out of hand stinks of the backlash they must have got afterwards.

I always love that response. "Oh waah, I dont want to hear ________s songs sung on Glee. Blah blah blah." Here's the beauty of life: YOU DON'T HAVE TO! No one's putting a gun to your head. Stop acting like Glee covering this music is some great offense to the artists or to you. It's not. It's really ****ing not.

also... anyone can cover a song. But aired and for profit no. You can't stop someone from "butchering" your song... also, glee has proven to raise interest and sales of the artists who's songs they cover. So people really need to shove whatever the hell is there issue up there bum.

Personally, I've always either liked the original and Glee's cover equally, or preferred Glee's.

Chris Colfer and Amber Riley definitely sing 4 Minutes better than Madonna and Timberlake did.

Lea Michelle and Chris Colfer sing Don't Cry For Me Argentina better than Madonna, Darren Criss' Teenage Dream is better than Katy Perry's, and Colfer and Criss' Baby its Cold Outside may well be the best I've heard.

Then there ones like Vogue and Losing My Religion that are almost interchangeable with the original.

I love both of those songs now thanks to Glee. Valerie's Glee Version is right by The Zutons versions of it and Amy Whinehouse's version of it on my Itunes. Bust Your Windows too. I hadn't heard that song, but when Mercedes burst out into it, yep ran and found the original.

Almost all of my Glee Cast versions are followed by the original.

I think Whinehouse's version is also a cover.

I think Grenade was number one for quite a few weeks, so I doubt Bruno shares your sentiments, haha.
