Finally we got the title, guess it was kinda obvious.

Written By:
Steven S. DeKnight
Directed By:
James Marshall

- The two Kryptonian baddies last seen in "Arrival" won't be back this year, but they may return in Season 6.
- It is rumored that James Marsters may appear in Smallville's Season 6 premiere.
- It sounds like all of Smallville's seven lead characters will survive into the next season.
- Will Lex keep his powers? Guess we'll have to wait and see...
- This is said to be a "really big" episode.

I hope Zod gets out of Luthors body and gets his own...I think Rosenbaum could pull off being a totally different character, but I'd rather see someone else as Zod...

What's to believe? Premieres are always big, Exile, Crusade, Arrival, easily among the best episodes of the series.

Sure it may be big, But I'm sure most of the stuff from the first draff of this story {that would've been good] is going to get scraped just like in "Arrival" {Which was by far the worst Season premiere I have seen yet on this series}

You didn't like it just because Clark didn't complete his training and saved Lana. We know that story already Kal-El 8.

No that's not all

(1) The fight between Clark vs. "Nam-Ek" & "Aethyr" wasn't even a fight. The orginal script sounded better .

(2) The Scene Where Clark talk's to Jonathan & Martha about his Meeting with Jor-EL in The FOS in the original script didn't make it.

(3) Lois using a Rocket launcher on Nam-Ek & Aethyr never made it past the original script .

(4) The Damn No More Secrets No More lies, Was the Biggest BS line I've ever hear on this series .

You should know that things change a lot for some reason or another. The original script had Clark & the 2 Kryptonians fighting in some hanger and Lois with a Rocket Launcher in her hands lol, it did sound better but it was still a great premiere.

That would've been awesome instead of the BS we got.

(1) Luthor Mansion

(2) Lana

(3) Clark standing their like a damn fool

(4) No Super fight

Maybe to you, not for me. Cursade is so far The BEST premiere for me . :supes:

lol what you think I hated Crusade?

Crusade is on the top of my list, best episode of the series definitely.

If you were Clark and you had lost your powers, you had defeated the enemy and felt that your biological father was now done with you, that you had dealt with the situation that you thought you were sent here for, and you were now free to live your life like any other human being on the planet, wouldnt you say to the girl that you love I can now enter into a relationship with you with no more secrets and no more lies.

You guys seem to forget that unlike us, Clark doesnt know what's going to happen in his future.

You saw the look of regret on his face at the end of Hidden when he realised that he now had to go back to a life of avoiding the truth. He hated it, that's one of the driving forces that makes him don and suit and cape. So he doesnt have to lie any more.

Kal8, I dont believe there was a scene between Clark and his parents where he spoke to them about the Fortress and how corny would it have been to see Lois using a Rocket Launcher.

*****

Anyway, onto this season premiere, I hope with the launch of the new network that they'll extend Smallville an extra budget to make this a huge launch for them.

That's exactly it, you don't say you'll be honest when things are easy going for you and everything is going your way. You're honest under any circumstances, which Clark is not. Clark shouldn't talk the talk if he can't walk the walk.

Like Kal-El 8 said, biggest bs line of the series thus far.

I'm sure everybody did the same thing one time or another, nobody is 100% honest all the time in this world, remember that, lol.

he did walk the walk in episode 100..

you know, the episode with big car crash, and father's death, because he DID walk the walk..

You're missing the point. He didnt say it because it was the easy way out. He said it because in his heart and in his mind he believed it to be true. The reasons were no longer there for him to lie and keep secrets, he could be himself without hiding anything.

Now assume Clark's powers were gone for good, in time as he and Lana were able to develop their relationship even further, it may well have led him to telling her everything if she had asked. However, that scenario never got to play out so we were never able to see how far the "no secrets and lies" was able to go.

Only when it's convenient for Clark then ey?

Season 1-3 I could understand why Clark kept his true self from Lana, but recently I feel the reasons they used in the beginning seasons are pointless now, especially with the way they took season 5.

It's time for Lana to know. She should have found out last year, well actually she should have died in reckoning but whatever. Lana still needs to find out Clark's secret and then become his confidant like the comics, although im geussing that role will officially belong to Chloe. Again, if I were writing Smallville, Lana would have died. It's entirely concievable that they might write her out of Clark's life when it is all said and done.

On a side note, I am interested to see what happens to Martha and Lois considering Clark isn't around to save them.

I want Clark & Lana's relationship to be like how it is in Superman:TAS

i love how they went with it.

not a whole lot to go on here..not like its a surprise "Zod" is gonna be in it. Let's just hope we see Zod tkae on another physical form other than Lex

Its not a matter of convenience as it still has to be his choice on whether he tells people or not and at that point in time he felt that that part of his life was done with, therefore he had nothing to hide any more.

So watching the girl that you've grown up loving all your life die as a consequence of something you told her about yourself, is not reason enough to not give her that information again.

I think it is and he is never going to deliberately set out and put that burden on anyone. The risk is too great.
