Rachel said something along that ''Dreamgirls was a musical first." I think she was trying to say that Sunshine probably had never seen the Broadway show and just assumed it was just a movie.Mini theater geek rant.. Sunshine says she's singing Listen from the movie Dreamgirls. Rachel corrects her and say "Musical first!". Except Listen is a song written for the film, and was never in the show.![]()

I can't wait for next week's episode!

That was a great premiere. I thought it was full of hilarious, witty dialogue, a fun meanspirited plot, and some pretty entertaining songs.
I will even say their rapping this episode was better than usual (Empire State of Mind was not nearly as horrible as I thought. It still is sad to see Finn pretend to be Jay-Z though).
And seeing Rachel do something that is really *****y and cost them Sunshine was great. Team Sue-Will (lasting 1 episode) was fun. I liked her trying to get Brittany to say she was molested by Bieste. Quinn and Santana's cat fight was hilarious with their vicious insults to each other and Brittany is just standing there and passively saying, "Stop the violence..."
It was overall very well written.
Favorite line: "The only person with the power to cut my budget is the PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE! IT'S IN MY CONTRACT!!"
This is more Glee 1.0 than Glee 1.5. I'm enticed. Even though I hate Britney Spears music, next week's episode looks good as well.
I agree, the flip out on Finn was brilliant. But as Flick said, I already got that she was upset when she left the cafeteria. She should've been the one to enter the locker room, not Finn and Artie.
Honestly though, I really don't want to feel bad for her. If hey are trying to make Sue likable, then we need a proper villain. Dot Jones played it great, so I don't hold it against her as much as I do the writers.
Also, does anyone else find it strange that Will does not know that his best friend (even if estranged) had a nervous break down?
Next weeks episode look amazing. And I hate that woman.![]()
I never felt that, even before the Ken/Emma break up, they were anything more than aquaintances. I think the only reason they put up with eachother as much as they did was due to Emma.
See: April Rhodes/Olive Snook and Veronica Mars. They should all join forces and start their own club. They'd be tiny, terrifying, and unstoppable.Damn, I had no idea it was possible to be shorter than Rachel...
