Artie's voice is starting to annoy me. Loving Santana more and more.:atp:

And yes, MORE MIKE!:cmad:

[Humourous slang that indicates my penis is thoroughly engorged right now.]:awesome:

Their Toxic was awesome.

So far for me it's:

1. Stronger
2. Toxic
3. I'm A Slave 4 U
4. Baby One More Time
5. The Only Exception
6. Me Against the Music

Stronger is the only one that makes sense and fits the character. A lot of times Glee has characters singing certain songs just for the sake of singing it, and that's always been something one should NEVER do when making a musical. It prevents the audience from being let it.

Listening to Stronger made me feel an actual emotion for Artie. And the same can be said for numbers like "I Dreamed A Dream", "Keep Holding On", or "Don't Stop Believing".

Songs like "Poker Face" or "Billionaire" are just sung for the sake of singing those songs. They end up feeling forced and I'm left feeling

"Billionaire" (you could argue it relates to his desire to succeed) is about the guys hanging out and having fun; likewise, "Toxic" is a group performance number. When it's a show about a singing group (and they're doing covers of popular songs), I don't have a problem with them just singing.

Also this is isn't a typical Broadway or movie musical, JP. I thought about this the other day. It's a musical about a Glee club. It's not like Glee clubs sing songs to represent something a member is going through.

And consider the number of songs that they've sung pretty much break down to one of the members standing in front of everyone else and singing. So I don't have much of a problem with it anymore.

Singing on stage as a group is not what I have a problem with. It's songs like "Poker Face" where I'm just left perplexed.

Then there are times where it's like "Hey guys I have a song to sing! I'm going to sing this song that kinda hints at how I'm feeling!" (Gives You Hell, House Is Not A Home, This Is A Mans World, Beth).

While other times it's like "Hey guys I have a song to sing! Don't worry, its completely random and doesn't further the plot at all!"

What makes Poker Face a thousand times more ridiculous is that she was singing it with her mom...

Poker Face was bad I'll give you that. It's really the only song that completely jarred me, but in a Glee club there's bound to be times where the kids just want to sing to show Mr Schue what they can do. So I have no problem with those ''What the hell why are they singing this in front of the club?" songs.

And in the case of the Britney Episode, we know with the save Only Exception, that all the songs are sang by the kids as fantasies, Santana and Brittany are more shallow than Rachel and Artie, so the selections for them make less since (but then again I'm A Slave and Me Against the Music are all about dancing which Brit does love.)

Rachel is singing Baby about Finn, and Artie's is clearly about the breakup with Tina.

Judging from the previews, Toxic looked like it was a non-fantasy number, so I wonder if after they've all had their dreams about performing Britney, they convince Schue to let them perform it for real.

Except we know Will goes to see Carl (Stamos) too, so I think Toxic might be a horror fantasy of his, singing a very sexual song with his students in front of everyone including Emma.

Ahh, I see. That makes more sense.

"Am I dreaming? Is this happening?"

That line made me lol

You're just now noticing this?

I noticed it on Empire State of Mind... where she was noticably better than the rest. The only other time I noticed was in Season 1's episode where Artie can walk and they were in the mall. But looks like Heather will appear more in this season so :awesome:
