i'm glad they addressed the fact that kurt was crushing pretty hard on finn before the big blowup last season...and it wasn't all finn's fault.

I'm surprised there are people here who actually think Sam will stay "straight" in the show.

i think he will. all the gay jokes were in reference to the rumors that he was going to be gay.

I personally think things are lining up still to be just like they were spoiled to be lining up.

Finn and Rachel's second duet had me on the floor.

LOL. YES! I loved everyone's reactions too. Especially Quinn's ''I wanted to punch you both!"

Admittedly, my Rocky Horror knowledge is limited, but I think it sounds pretty good.

gotta say, the kid who plays kurt really is the best male vocalist on this show (when neil patrick harris isn't guest starring). seriously, towards the end of his solo duet...just wow, fantastic range. best on the show no doubt.

This episode came out of nowhere to become my favourite of the season so far (and I've enjoyed all the others, too).

Things that were good:

1. Rachel and Finn as a fun, functional couple (though their plan to throw the singing portion of the contest was really strange; even speaking as a Catholic who attends services quite regularly, I don't buy that a bunch of teenagers would have been so appalled at that; though their voting strategy would probably have done the job anyway).

2. Brittana - victory.:awesome:

3. Actual followup to "Theatricality".

4. All of the songs were good.

Santana was right to be angry at the end; she and Mercedes got straight-up robbed. Nobody else came close.

Niggle, but, Artie blaming Brittany was out of line. Brittany's status as one of the school bicycles is widely known, and he chose to have sex with her.

I'm now shipping Artie/Brittany as my new favorite couple. And this was the first episode where Brittany became a real character on the show.

I'm sure the PTC is going to try and stop this ep from ever re-airing thanks to that lesbian makeout and scissoring line.

All of Season 2 would be banned by them, since it's about tolerance and we have gay galore coming full steam ahead at us.

I believe the PTC actually doesn't claim to be against depictions of homosexuality, per se (for example, their review of Modern Family refers to Mitch and Cam as "proud parents", and it's not cited as a negative), just depictions of visceral sexuality, particularly involving teens, on network TV (and early in the night, especially). It's part of their claim to be a nonpartisan organization.

Now, since the PTC consists almost entirely of ultraconservatives, most of its membership probably wouldn't mind gays not being on TV all the same. Certainly, it's founder, L. Brent Bozell III (I laugh every time I say that name), is no friend of the gay community.

"He's really dumb and thats coming from me"

"How can you do a duet by yourself? Thats like musical *********ion"

Is this the first time that Brittany and Santa were shown to be sexual with each other? I didnt realize either was bi/gay

I like the new kid, Sam. Really think he and Quinn are going to work well together. I liked their duet the best. Is he a regular this season?

Very solid episode. Might just very be the best one of the season so far.

Best episode of the season by far, imo. They addressed a few issues I've had with episodes in the past, which definitely helped my appreciation.

Apparently it is possible for me to love an episode of Glee with no Sue. Weird. Rachel and Finn's hilariously inappropriate duet was probably my favorite part of the episode - this is also the first episode of the season where I thought they actually worked as couple.

And yes, despite having a whole episode devoted to her a couple weeks ago, THIS episode was the moment Brittany became a real character, imo.

"He's really dumb and thats coming from me".

Between that and Finn coming up with the Grease 2 idea and realizing her plan was still selfish, I was thinking "WTF!Both of them are getting smarter?!"

"Is this the first time that Brittany and Santa were shown to be sexual with each other? I didnt realize either was bi/gay

It's been mentioned in passing that they have a sexual relationship but never shown.

These people act like breadsticks are made of solid gold or something. :funny:

Well that wasn't a waste of a post at all.

Ever since the Hype started having ads, a lot of bots have been popping up all over the place.

who said: "He's really dumb and thats coming from me".?

i also loved how brittany showed some actual emotion this episode.

Wow.

I actually kinda liked Artie/Brittany.

Brittana was so much win. And I just downloaded Lucky. Totally agree with the contest results.

I kind of wish Rachel/Finn would try to win just so they could lose and be taken down a notch.

Yeah that whole assumption that they were the best and would automatically win was kinda silly.

i also loved how brittany showed some actual emotion this episode.

Heh...if you say so. Couldn't tell from her "acting".

This episode was really good, I didn't even miss not seeing Puck, Emma, and, this surprised me, Sue!
