Just leaving this here as it was the picture I was speaking of earlier.

I dont know. I was with the whole "Sam is gay" thing for awhile, but at this point it would just seem so sloppily done. I would hope that what they've got in store for him would be consistent with what we've seen of him so far.

I don't see anything that 100 percent labels him as straight. Sexuality is not black and white or simple to decipher. There's multiple studies of men and women fighting their homosexuality and trying to not be gay. There's also the fact he's a 16 year old boy. His sexuality even more flexible.

I just find it funny he keeps finding his way into Kurt's story somehow. And now there's rumors that after the Valentine's Day episode, there's going to be a Flashback Episode to what happened in between season 1, where Sam would get a big role.

You raise a good point. I guess it all depends on how it's written.

How does Sam keep "finding his way into Kurt's story"?

They haven't interacted any way but fleetingly since Duets.

Who got the biggest hits in on Karofsky, who was the first one to offer protection to Kurt when he left for Dalton?

Oh yeah, Sam. And he even attacked Karofsky with the angriest face on possible. It was clearly more than protecting Mike and Artie or even to a degree Kurt.

Mike and Artie were the ones who confronted Karofsky, Sam didn't jump in until Karofsky knocked Artie over.

By that logic, both Mike and Artie are secretly in love with Kurt.

Or Rachel is in love with Kurt, because she was the one who sent the guys in the first place.

You're ruling out the possibility that Sam is in love with Artie. :oldrazz:

Oh geez. Sam's face is MAD AS ALL HELL there. He clearly even says he did it for Kurt. ''Maybe it'll tell him to back off Kurt." to Will.

It wasn't about Artie or Mike. Sam was the one that got the credit there even if Mike/Artie started it. ''I want to thank everyone. ESPECIALLY SAM." So therefore, there Kurt's story is, and Sam's crossed his way into it again.

I don't mean to be condescending, and I'm not declaring there is zero possibility that I'm wrong and Sam is in the closet and will be Kurt's boyfriend, but I think there's a lot of reaching going on among a lot of the people determined Sam is the boyfriend.

This is Glee we're discussing, it's not exactly known for its subtlety, and most of their supposed curveballs are pretty obvious.

I also think making Sam a jock struggling with his sexuality would be really redundant considering they've already given us that with Karofsky.

The impression I've always got from what I've heard was that [BLACKOUT]Murphy originally intended Sam to be Kurt's boyfriend (which would explain some of the "proof" people still use, like Jane Lynch saying Sam was the boyfriend, or Chris Colfer saying Kurt's boyfriend's name was Sam), but after Chord Overstreet was cast, Murphy decided he had better chemistry with Dianna Agron. The "jock struggling with his sexuality" plot point was then given to Karofsky instead.

And as far as the line from Murphy about Kurt's boyfriend having some kind of personal struggle, Murphy said in an interview that Blaine has self-loathing because he regrets letting bullies chase him away from his old school, and that Blaine will try to rectify what he sees as wrongdoing on his part over the season. So that line could apply to either Sam OR Blaine.[/BLACKOUT]

Also of note? Marry You is all the couples dancing down the aisle. Who interupts Quinn and Sam? Mercedes and Kurt.

Glee actually has alot of little subtles especially in the clothing department. The clothing lady loves pairing up clothes for the couples. It's on the DVD somewhere I believe in the dress like a gleek thing. There are points where Emma and Will match, etc.

I'm not saying Glee has the best writers, but I'm really thinking it's Blaine/Kurt that's a little reaching and with the way Ryan Murphy loves Chris Colfer, I'm sure as hell willing to bet he's going to put his a Game into this plot.

How are Kurt/Blaine reaching?

They're coupley hints have been a heck of a lot more overt than Kurt/Sam.

Also, Burt tells Kurt what he needs is someone as open and as brave as he is, someone who will hold his hand in the hall.

That's not Sam, at least definitely not right now. From what we've seen of him so far, besides coming to Kurt's (and more directly, Artie's) defense, all Sam cares about is being popular. If he's gay, he's decidedly not open and brave about it.

And after the line about Kurt deserving/needing a guy who will hold his hand in the hall, what's the first thing he and Blaine do?

When a couple is professing their love on Glee as soon as they did? Yeah..not a good sign. Those couples end QUICKLY. If anything Blaine's a distraction until the real boyfriend comes along.

Look I'm not gonna say that Blaine won't be ending up the boyfriend, but I really don't see it happening. The hold handing line means nothing. The prom line is more important. We've known that Kurt will become Prom King with his boyfriend. And he's not staying at Dalton. No way. And I'm willing to bet Blaine won't ditch Dalton as easily as some people would think.

Also note everything Murphy, Colfer, Overstreet, Adler, and Criss have all said. They've all contradicted one another so much, that it's hard to believe anyone.

Hell, Adler has pretty much said things that makes it seems like absolutely NOTHING has changed. 2x4 and 2x6 were written at the same time. And one features clear hints of Kurt and Sam's future, the other is FILLED with the main hints that Sam is straight and the most heavy episode with Quinn/Sam. It's obvious Quinn/Sam was planned from the beginning of the season and was not a last minute change like Murphy would want us to believe.

There's also the fact TV Guide, I believe it was, that right before the season began said Quinn would play a part in Kurt's love life. Hmm.

Kurt and Blaine haven't professed anything to each other.

The actual quote from Murphy was "like prom kings", he was talking about them being a "power couple" and said "like prom kings", he didn't literally say they WERE going to be prom kings.

As for them contradicting each other, they've actually been pretty consistent from what I've seen.

Murphy has said there are times when he thinks Blaine should be the boyfriend and others when he thinks he's just the mentor/friend, and that he was still making up his mind about it. Now, call BS if you want to (and you're well within your right taking anything that comes out of Murphy's mouth with a huge grain of salt), but that jives pretty well with Colfer and Criss both saying Kurt and Blaine's relationship is platonic so far, but they don't know if it will become romantic or not. Neither of them has said "No, they will never become romantic", they just said they start as friends and they don't know where it might go eventually.

Overstreet has said he isn't Kurt's boyfriend. Again, you're free to think he's lying.

I for one didn't pick up an interest in Kurt coming from Sam in Duets. I suppose it's fairly obvious I'm shipping Kurt/Blaine, but that was multiple episodes before Blaine was introduced, or before I even knew he existed/would exist, and at the time I was half-assuming Sam was the boyfriend, so it wasn't a matter of me not seeing things because I didn't want to see them.

I guess we interpreted the episode different ways. I didn't and have never read any obvious romantic undertones between Kurt and Sam.

Eh. I hate arguing about this, because really it never leads to anywhere. For all we know NEITHER couple could end up happening and Karofsky could get redemption, yuck, just the thought grosses me out.

At last, we find common ground :woot:

Even Puck would be better for Kurt than Karofsky.

Lauren Zizes would be better for Kurt than Karofsky. And she gives me the heebie-jeebies

I was thinking the other day...I would love to see some past Nip/Tuck actors making guest appearances on this show. I kind of want to see Sean and Christian sing. :o

I don't want anyone who appeared on Nip/Tuck on except Jennifer Coolidge as Brittany's mom and maybe Liz.

Jennifer Coolidge as Brittany's mom would be cool

My ex wants Queen Latifah to guest star as Mercedes' mom

I want Phylicia Rashad as Mercedes mom personally.

Jennifer Coolidge would be great as Brittany's mom, and would be an awesome reunion between her and Jane Lynch. :oldrazz:
