The Rocky Horror episode will be a treat. My only qualm is that I really wish it were a full on ROCKY HORROR episode and not just "Hey kids, your assignment this week is.. rocky horror!!".

If they could get Tim Curry I'd die happy.

agreed. i can't wait to see what they have planned.

So I herd Mr Shuster and Sue Sly are gonna be friends in the new season?

it's a freaking good idea imo... making them friends. Sue cant stay evil forever

The trailer called them "frenemies", so one imagines she'll still be insulting him all the time; but at a certain point her active scheming to destroy the Glee club becomes kind of pointless (because she obviously can't succeed, and because we've seen her pull her punch in the finale). Offering up new challenges is a good thing; one doesn't expect them to ever become real friends or anything, but they have a common foe. They're like FDR and Stalin.:awesome:

It will probably be like when a hero teams up with the villain to take down a even bigger villain. Or...the enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of thing.

I think it's like when Ben and Locke teamed up against Widmore in Season 4 of Lost but at the beginning of Season 5 they were enemies.

and they will.the jumping back and forth could become boring.

but glee is meant to be fun and relaxing.

I have nothing against them showing Sue have a sick sister and a soft side she will never show at school. It was some great characterization.

However, I do agree that having her not only feel sorry for Glee club in the season finale (which worked) but SAVE them, and not only save them, but TELL WILL and then compliment him as a good teacher?!?!

I mean it was a great scene, but now a lot of the tension between those two is gone. Because we saw when push came to shove she likes/respects Will and doesn't want to destroy the Glee Club really. That is a fine resolution for the end of a show, but now we know her sniping in future seasons will be just a lot of hot air. I think they revealed a little too much there. I also think having Finn and Rachel get together in the finale was a mistake because now we are back to a love triangle that was clearly resolved last season.

They'll just have to be more creative for plots, but the stuff that makes people watch (the vicious meta-sense of humor, Sue's verbal tirades, and usually great musical numbers) will always keep the show afloat.

Sue Sylvester was in the same position that Spike from Buffy quickly found himself in: she was too popular to remain a villain. I think the show's creators might have fully intended to keep Sue a bad guy at first, based off the first half of Season 1. But after the huge fan response Sue received, you could see a marked change in her portrayal when they came back after the break for the rest of the season. She was getting involved in more songs, getting portrayed sympathetically more often. She is simply too well-liked by the fanbase to be an effective antagonist anymore.

Which is why I expect in Season 2 we'll see Sue and Will/the Glee Club forced to unite against a greater threat.

i can see sue evolving from an outright villain to just your average, overly obnoxious/mean-spirited person. do you think this is terri's deal to?

If Jacob Ben Israel ever sings (which I doubt) I want him to sing Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner to Rachel. I HATE that song but I thought of his little love for Rachel and how she always ignores him when I heard a snippet of that.

I guess it could work for Puck if he ever gets fed up with Quinn and Santana too.

but how can Sue work without being a villain? look at her dialoge and lines. they dont work if she is a goodguy.

Uh? None of her most outlandish lines even have to do with her plans as the show's villain. They usually are totally unrelated. Good guys can still be *******s/*****es.

Look at Santana. She's not a bad guy, but she's not really a good person either, if that makes sense.

she is just a hot bit... who wants to have lots of sex. all good with me hehehehehehehhehe

I was watching the Glee version of Bad Romance on youtube the other day. It still scares me.

But, Billy.. that song is SO awful. :(

I still submit that inspiring Santana to wear that costume is the only good thing Lady Gaga has ever done.
