Hey guys, Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster, Godzilla vs. Gigan, and Godzilla vs. Hedorah are all up on Hulu Plus right now. It's strange because they aren't suppose to be released until next week, but already broken street date. Must be the Godzilla hype, it's real! lol

So, it's begun hasn't it?

HYPE IS REAL. Tomorrow will be the start to determine Godzilla's cinematic future here in America and maybe its cinematic future period. If it doesn't succeed, it may never recover.

Ya know, one thing I've wondered on NDA. If you get picked to be in a special screening, and then go blabbing. How exactly do they find out it's you? How do they single you out from the other people?

If all else fails, they can make a music video trailer with Katy Perry's 'Roar'. That'll bring in the crowds. :hehe:

Even if it doesn't do great here in the U.S. this kind of thing tends to travel well. Even Pacific Rim managed to due decent business elsewhere.

Legendary's Thomas Tull Talks 'Godzilla,' Universal Move, China Plans in Rare Interview

As Legendary Pictures gets ready to unleash its new Godzilla movie on May 16, Legendary CEO Thomas Tull said that the $160 million movie could begin to turn a profit once it hits $450 million at the worldwide boxoffice.

“Starting a new franchise, if it did $450 million worldwide, anything above that would be pretty good. It’s still expensive, but it’s not a $200 million movie,” Tull explained as part of a wide-ranging interview conducted by Hollywood Reporter executive editor Matthew Belloni at THR’s annual Power Lawyers Breakfast, which took place April 30 at Spago in Beverly Hills.

But Tull shut down any speculation about a possible Godzilla sequel lurking in the shadows, saying, “We don’t ever talk about sequels until we’ve earned that right. I’m superstitious about it.”

Well now looks a Godzilla franchise is indeed on the table of possibility should the upcoming film hits $450 million worldwide and above. Although obviously Tull isn't hitting the "Early Go Ahead" for a sequel button unless the film succeeds in that regard.

Screenings start. I posted a link to a review (maybe 3 spoilers at best and they're not even that big) from a user who pretty much has said "**** YOU" to the embargo. Basically, he said it was fantastic.

Zilla sounds like a complete and utter beast in that review. There'll be no worry in that regard. I think this will be like seeing Jurassic Park for the first time, in particular the Rex.

Indeed, I hope so. This is just a guess, but methinks the embargo will be lifted on Monday, May 12th.

Advanced public screenings have begun and this is the first review! Scroll down to where the spoiler tags are (though, they're not too spoilerific) and the user "Alien3" says it's fantastic.

NOTE: This is a non-spoiler review as I had strict orders to keep my mouth shut, and as you all know I hate spoilers, so this will be a light as I can make it. ;) If you can guys, keep this to yourselves as best you can so I don't get Warner Brothers knocking on my door.

To Alien3:

What an idiot. You posted on a public forum on the internet you moron.

What he does think the internet is? A secret, locked up treasure chest keeper of secrets?

How could he get in trouble anyway? He's using an alias, it's not like WB knows that Bubba Jubjub posts as Alien3 on an AvP.

Of course, he posted a picture of his t-shirt and stuff to make it easier for them.

It's called an IP address. And yes he also posted personal pictures of himself and the theater.

Listen for all I know, WB isn't going to care and go after him. But if you post on a public forum and ask posters not to "spread this around" and think you have a cone of silence on a public forum on the internet...you are a fool.

I never said it wasn't dumb but they ain't going after his IP. He didn't say that much.
