For the record, WB and Edwards announced that they finished the movie yesterday. I don't know if that's in regards to all effects shots being done or what.

The Facebook page for the film crossed 600,000+ likes just recently.

I wanna photos like that, but with Godzilla instead. Like the MUTO organization is keeping faint tabs on Godzilla.

What, did they have that kid when they were 15? :o

"[...] there's no disaster porn on display. Every bit of destruction is felt, not cheered on."

****, just by that description alone it seems as though they got it right. That is very essential to a TRUE GODZILLA film.

GODZILLA, JUPITER ASCENDING & BIG SCI-FI DOMINATES WARNER BROTHERS SLATE AT CINEMACON

Director Gareth Edwards had literally just finished the final edit on Godzilla when Warner Bros. whisked him away to Las Vegas to present what was essentially a five or six minute preview. Edwards gave a modest introduction and said that he hoped that the footage spoke for itself - it very much did. When Sandler and Barrymore took the stage once that screening was complete to present their upcoming rom com, Sandler joked, "F*** Blended, how about that Godzilla!?!" Barrymore confessed that it had made her cry, declaring, "That is going to be such a hit."

The opening sequence was indeed wrenching and remarkably emotionally effective. Our own Chris Tilly and Luke Karmali were able to see a full 20 minutes of the film previously, including the initial scene that was screened this afternoon, and you can look at their coverage from the event above. IGN was also able to visit the set of the film and you can find our coverage from that trip below. For now, we'll say that our excitement has only increased the more we've seen of Edwards' monster epic.

Those hoodies at the top are just...:lmao:

I agree. I'm looking forward to feeling how terrifying something like Godzilla would be in reality.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Zillas!

And yeah, I think that if they really keep the tone that the trailers have established, we're in for something truly great.

I'm not a hardcore Godzilla fan but this looks fantastic to me. I'm glad the fans are positive about this

I'm even more glad non fans are showing a great intrigue towards this.
