This is the best thing that ever happened in the Universe, after God's creation of Asian girls.

Rareware Is Revisiting 007 Xbox Evolved has many sources indicating that the classic N64 Rareware title “Goldeneye 007” will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade later this year, as well as many others.

Talking with very reliable sources, and seeing evidence ourselves, Xbox Evolved believes that Microsoft, Rareware, MGM Studios (studio that makes the James Bond 007 movies) and Activision (holds the license for James Bond 007 titles right now) have come to an agreement to bring the Rareware developed Goldeneye 007 out to Xbox Live Arcade shortly before the new game developed by Activision is released.

The title will feature updated graphics, and of course an all-new Xbox Live multiplayer. Not only that, but we have found evidence that Rareware is planning on releasing even more of their back catalog onto Xbox Live Arcade, specifically, Perfect Dark and the original Banjo-Kazooie. Expect more on at least Goldeneye 007 later this year.

Nope. The game is dead anyway. You will have to have sex with an asian woman to get over the loss.

Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, AND Banjo-Kazooie? Definite must get. :woot:

I'll even delete those roms off my computer.

But if Goldeneye doesn't happen, I'll still get the other 2

I tried going back and playing the original "Perfect Dark" on N64 a little while after "PD Zero" came out, cause I LOOOOOVED that game when it came out...

...I couldn't play it. :( It was wayyyy too sluggish. I've gotten spoiled by the speed of FPS's now, and I can't go back and enjoy one of my favorite games ever now. :(

Yeah is this happening or what. Seems so much more like a pipe dream. I can't buy into it yet.

I would be... insanely happy... if these games got re-released with the enhancements. Like, Shenmue 3 confirmed happy.

Like i always said, it would be stupid of Rare and Microsoft not the re-release those games, more even when there is a Banjo 3 and a Perfect Dark 2 on the way.
It would make more sense, imo, to release both games in a Collector´s Edition, namely Banjo 1 and 2 with Banjo 3, and Perfect Dark with Perfet Dark 2.
But hey, it´s amazing news no matter how it´s coming out

But, at the same time, i hope the games go to the Wii´s VC too, they deserve it, they made Rare what they are, it just shows respect, even if they came after being on the XBLA.

I hope that these "revamped" versions make it onto XBLA, and then the original versions make it onto VC.

Well, if all you want to do is download and play the games, then you just need a free silver membership. If you want to play online then you need to pay for it.

Now, changing the subject a bit, but continue on the XBLA mold....damn, i just hope that MS allows for bigger file size.
It´s true that it started with 50Mb, than it was raised to 150Mb....it´s time to raise the bar even more, to 300MB.
I want XBLA RPGs, and want XBLA games to be all they can be, not to read things like (from Kotaku, about Omega 5)

Them claiming to see evidence is different, then the previous rumours that have popped up in the past few years.

Kotaku.com was the only decent gaming website that came up in a search, they're waiting for a comment from Microsoft.
    http://kotaku.com/342745/rumor-goldeneye-007-perfect-dark-coming-to-xbla

Apparently in the newest EGM the rumours section mentions that Microsoft cancelled a XBLA Goldeneye at the last minute.

In that thread a member claims to have a little info saying that Iwata cockblocked the whole thing giving no reason why. And that they made the port first before asking Nintendo.

    ?
Money is to be made. It would be nice if they came out now or a decent E3 surprise.

It would be great to have updated Rare games. My younger brother will love this rumour. He would be in the Top 10 of XLBA Goldeneye players, its insane how he is with it and he just bought an 360. He was at a local video game store having a Goldeneye tourney and people who advanced actually left the store since they didn't want to play him after he played his 1st round.

I don't believe that at all. Saying that and also 4 guitar hero sequels in 2008? Working on a new game for MS's new console? I hope that Goldeneye will come onto XBLA.

Iwata was an idiot and ruined everything? Big surprise there.

At least Rare can still do Perfect Dark and Banjo.
