Do you think what there doing with the story in SM3 Is good or not? I Really don't see any thing wrong with it, though alot of people i know say that their jumping in to the story to fast, What do you think?

I'm warming up to the story. I mean, this one should be Harry's time to shine in a pimpin' new GG...instead we got a black scuba suit and a snowboad, and the Symbiote/Venom thing could really be its own trilogy.

But I have confidence in Raimi to deliver a final installment that blows Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 out of the water. I have confidence that this will be the best superhero movie out there.

^It's bitter sweet.It's gonna be an awesome movie,but they could of spread it to a part 5 easily,by giving Sandman his own movie,Harry his own movie,and Venom his own movie.

Sorry, but with Pirates 3 and Shrek 3, they really couldn't wait for Venom, he's pretty much needed now. I could have waited for him to be in SM5, but my business-sense tells me that he's needed now.

Exactly! spider-man needed that special x-factor to compete with the big dogs of potc3 and shrek 3 and venom is it. I'm sorry but had the villains just been Harry and sandman, you geeks who are so concerend about the movies BO more than the actual quality of the film would have been hit seriousy hard. The last 2 spidey movies are mediocre in every sense of the word imo and Raimi needed the big gun, which is venom wether you like to admit it or not. So, depending on how venom is portrayed and recieved dont think you wont see carnage because he'll definately turn up sooner or later and this is not from the perspective of a fan but the mind of someone who want to sell those damn tickets and compete successfully in the summer or any other season for that matter.

I don't think we know enough about the story to start judging it...

in all honesty based on the outline we saw in the trailers for spidey 2, i think the story may be a little weaker than it.


The inner demons that are going to come out in this film have never surfaced in peter before...

at least in Tas, you saw peter had small gripes with people before the symbiote's apperance and it certainly had an influence with how he dealt with them all afterward. All these relative hurts are going to come o ut of the blue.

besides, pete has never expressed any sort of hatred towards uncle ben's killer after that event, the overall hate seems somewhat out of the blue.

well in Tas, they were rather long standing grips that were hinted before rather than issues that had simply popped up just at the beginning of the alien saga for the fun of it.

Even if someone does die that has caused you much grief, it doesn't take away the resentment you have for them and for what loss they have caused you. This part of peter parker has never been shown. It merely look as if they are creating this part of his personality purely to drive the plot along.


well if the next trailer does shed more light, so be it but until then i can only go on what evidence i have at the mo.
