The Dark Knight Got accepted to the Nolan screening, can ask 3 questions in advance,I hit a blank HELP

Ultimately decided to leave Memnto out of the dvd question and decided on this

Seeing as this was going to be a huge movie from the start, will The Dark Knight receive better treatment on blu ray as far as special features are concenred either in another blu ray release or thru BD Live such as more in depth stuff on Joker etc.?

already typed it out, ok 2 more

that seems a lot like mine.. oh well 2 times the chance of it being asked lol

uh.....anyone who was accepted into the BD live should have gotten an e-mail about the rules.

One of which was that there to be no questions regarding the next film.

And I quote, "Mr. Nolan is here to talk about The Dark Knight only."

Figures. Since he officially hasnt signed on for the next one and he "isnt interested at all in it", my guess is that he wouldnt answer any question concerning the next film.
Also, if you dont mind me asking, why do you write "-jow" at the end of your posts? Your name is right next to each post.
Hypothetically let's say you decide to do another batman and the joker is to be in it somehow... How would you decide to go about that? facemapping? new actor? new look?

Did you change anything in the movie after hearing about fan reaction? for example the very first picture of joker released had a way more messy look. Is that why you changed the look? personally i really liked that version, but i like the official version as well..

i think those are pretty decent..
I didnt know there were any differences. Could you elaborate?

Did anyone ask a serious question? I know I just set myself up, here. But - seriously - do we really want to look like a bunch of fanboys who cares if the 'tumbler is in his garage?'*

Point being, the man paid homage to us by giving us great films. The least we can do is ask him some educated questions.

*I do like the question - I wasn't sorting you out - just the one that stuck in my mind.

well judging from the pic his makeup was more messy looking and thicker.. and the scars were bigger i think.. but i changed the question to just were there any changes after fan reaction..

also my question was hypothetical on what he would want to do with the joker its not specifically about asking if hes doing it, u think it would squeak by? lol

Questions I'd submitted.

1. Any personal connection to any one character in the film?

2. Any plans for a "Director's Cut"?

3. ...(*****, I forgot what my 3rd was LOL it was good though)

again not groundbreaking, but I wanted to ask.

i'd like to think my questions were serious..

I think I may have come up with a question myself.

Since it is very hard to imagine Batman without a batmobile, was destroying the tumbler a decision that was set from the very beginning and were you nervous about it in the end anyway?

i'd like to think my questions were serious..

Granted. And I hope I did not come off as pompous. But I read those statements as if some eight-year-old thought them up.

Here - I'll play along:

"Having delved into an icon, mythos, legend, have you thought of doing another, and not just comics? In other words, are you interested in visiting a childhood story, hero, character, legend - that is indicative of your memories? And if so, who or what?"

I got accepted.

Asked a few questions.

One was about what was the details of the deleted scene of the Joker walking to the car, and sitting in the back. And to why it was cut.

And the other was if he does a third, *I already know what he will say* will he replace the Joker. Because I know he won't. But I just want that discussion to end.

I can't remember my third question lol.

Ok so i got 2,

Seeing as this was going to be a huge movie from the start, will The Dark Knight receive better treatment as far as special features are concenred either in another blu ray release or thru BD Live such as more in depth stuff on Joker etc.?

Aw man, I wish I had a blu-ray player. :csad:

Anyway, here are some questions:

1. If you could go back in time to production, would you change anything and why?
2. Whose idea was it to do the viral marketing? Would you ever consider doing something like that for another film?
3. Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? :hoboj:

Good choices. The third should be epic.

No one really payed attention to the email rules huh?

"Do not ask a question regarding batman 3. Mr. Nolan is here to discuss TDK. Anyone asking Batman 3 questions will be removed from the session."

U guys kill me sometimes.

Mr. Earle - it was just a little something I started doing a while back to distinguish myself from other posters. There was also another instance where someone was posting as Anjowl060 and posting false rumors and stuff. So I let my friends know that unless they got an e-mail or w/e from me with the "-Jow" at the end that it wasn't from me. And it kinda fell over into here.

And then other people started copying it. And I became a trendsetter. Now I just do it to boost my ego.

lol

PS: Plus it's a nice way in my head to sign off a post. As you know.......I'm kind of a big deal. :P

as for one more question. i am liking this one If you could go back in time to production, would you change anything and why? unless someone can give me a beter question, then that will prolly be my 3rd.

First one is good, but the second is a waste. On the first disc special features, Nolan mentions it was always his intention to wreck the Tumbler in Begins, but it almost felt like a whole other character in that, so he left it alone. Was therefore always on the cards to wreck in TDK.

oh, i guess thats wat i get for not watching the special features yet lol.
ok back to 2 questions or possibly 1 if i take the production change question

You guys are smoking crack if you think WB is gonna let your question about lack of features through...they're not going to let you badmouth their product on such a huge event

Huzzah!:applaud

I'm calm as a hindu cow...but be realistic...do you think they're going to let through a question that basically says "we're not happy with the product you put out now and want something better"...I mean, don't get me wrong...I'm thinking the same thing...but I guarantee you it won't go through and don't want somebody wasting a question on it

ok i resubmitted it, i wonder if it overwrites it, it says it was submitted so we shall see. i couldnt think of a good one so i asked..

have you seen any of the art posted on forums people have made for the dark knight? if so, any favourites you can remember?
