2006 Chevy Cobalt LS 2-door coupe, same color and everything, I use to drive a 2003 Chevy Cavalier but after having it for 2 years some mofo hit me and totaled it.

It was the most I could afford, so did I make a good investment?

I take it you like Chevy's? I'd say yeah. It handles decent and affordable. Can I ask if its an automatic or standard? The automatic has this wierd "pick up and go" thing about them that I've found in nearly all Chevy cars.

Edit: Just me, but I would have gotten a Ford Focus.

Cavalier > Cobalt...but since they discoed the former for the later, its the closest you can get today to the Cav.

I'm not a Chevy guy, but congrats on the new purchase and cars are never good investments unless it's a classic muscle car. I like the look of the Cobalts.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you have, or were willing to spend?

And where?

You should of Got a Civic its much more cooler...and a great car..that looks cool thought I always like that but I don't like american cars that much...

I traded in my 1886 Mercedes for which they valued $1000 plus I gave another $1000 as down payment, and I went to Sopp Chevrolet in California.

And to answer Batty For Bats! question, it's an automatic.

You didn't answer my question though.

1886 Mercedes?, sounds like a classic. They only gave you a grand for it? I think you got ripped off buddy:p

So you gonna leave it just the way it looks..you gonna add anything?..Automatic..Why? you should of got a Clutch..Manual is much cooler to drive now adays since the gear boxes are made more smaller..I love driving My uncles RX-8

I had a Cavalier, great car till it turned 5 years old....couldn't keep it out of the shop after that..:(

....haven't had an automatic since 1984...the old escort.....any time I'm forced to drive an automatic I nearly put myself through the damn windshield...quite the jolt hitting the brake with both feet :)

And be like every other kid who has one?? When I was in school, it was VW Jetta's. Everyone had to have one to be cool. EFF that.

I meant 1986.

Very nice. I've never owned any car newer than about 5 years old. So you did good.

Why not go for something bigger after your other car was totalled by one accident? lol. :o
