The Dark Knight Gotham National Bank building being auctioned...

If I was a billionaire, I'd totally buy it to keep all my Batman stuff in. :o

Wha??!! Last I heard they were going to turn the building into condos with shopping. Would have LOVED to get a place there if it happened.

This is cool: ".....Levin suggested an opening bid of $300,000 but said the property absolutely will be sold regardless of price"

pleaseohpleaseohplease let my bid of $20 win! :)

im surprised the article didnt mention tdk. just to boost interest ya know?

I wonder if this means it'll be open for prospective buyers to look at at some point before auction.

I say we get a collection going for this thing. We've got to be able to come up with a good ...40, 45 bucks with no problem.

Just read this on Yahoo...I wonder if they plan to play up the fact that it was in TDK and make it into some sort of tourist feature; if they haven't already done that.
Eh, I dunno, it's not quite THAT iconic.

Actually, I was told by a :ninja: that they used another side of the building for the front of GPD. :funny: They did a lot of shooting in a 4-block radius.

Yeah, the eastern side of the building was used for the outside of MCU. (For reference, the north side of the building is the front of the bank, where the robbers run in).

When driving by, across the river, you could see a white sign sticking out the side (on the eastern face of the building), with black letters that read "Gotham Police Department."

That was the loading section of the post office, I think (with garages, loading areas, driveways, etc.), so it looks more industrial - just like what MCU looked like.
