This episode is gonna give off a lot of Batman Begins vibes in regards to Bruce, that's for sure.

So who is the Shaman? His he the Master in the comics who taught Bruce?

Oh wait. I just realized Ben McKenzie is directing this one, holy crap.

Has he had any directorial work before this?

No. But, he's apparently also directing the season finale (!)

This should be interesting to see. Hope he does well.

It annoys me that writer information is always hard to find ahead of time. For me that's far more important than who directs it.

Will be interesting to see his directorial debut. He's at least been around the show long enough to get a handle on how the characters operate and I would guess he's paid close attention to what directors have done if he was interested in directing an episode. Hope it goes well.

Cool to see Ben's first time directing.

Curious if the Temple Shaman is anyone in particular...

I honestly like the Gotham design for the Court of Owl masks more than the comic design.

So far this episode's off to a good start.

I think I like the new Talon more than the old Henry Cavill look a like.

This whole segment with the Shaman and Bruce desperately wants to be Batman Begins.

they are defently taking from batman begins but gotham uses more fantasy elements than nolan did.

i think we all know who is behind the shaman's trying to teach bruce.:cwink:

The League in Batman Begins was training Bruce to be part of their terrorist organization. It seems like the Shaman wants to train Bruce to be a hero.

Eh, still think the Shaman is in cahoots with Ra's.

What if the thing in the crate could be the body of Ra's Al Ghul? In season 2, Hugo Strange was working on a way to resurrect the dead for the Court of Owls.

at least that is what they want bruce to think or it's some part of the plan of ra's.

They could be telling the truth about wanting Bruce to be Gotham's protector. Maybe they want him to be the protector of the new Gotham that the Court is going to create.

If there is one thing this show teaches us about Oswald Cobblepot, it's that people who eat cannolis in his presence will die.

I think it could be the Tetch girl. Or Barnes.
